Update: Project was completed in July and we are very happy with final results. Our home looks beautiful and we receive many compliments on the finished product. We’re looking forward to saving up enough money to start the «2^nd half» of the house so it can be updated to look as modern as the remodeled area.

Remodel began end of Feb. and was completed mid-July (5 months to complete kitchen, living room, nook & doors, after we did initial demo). Many ups and downs, but we are satisfied with end result. Went through a few subcontractors (electricians, carpenters), resulting in having to re-do a few projects (i.e., 1^st elect. quit job and left unfinished, doors were too short, etc…) which slowed progress.
