Minter Veterinary Hospital

I have 2 dogs that i bring here. After searching around, i finalky came across Minter Vet. I completely trust them with my animals. They are very helpful, and easy to schedule appointments in. They get you in asap. Best part, they aleays trim my dogs nails. With one of my dogs being a giant breed, the nail trimming is so helpful. If you’re looking for a reliable, trustworthy vet. look no further.

I have been taking all my fur babies here for years. I am very happy with all the care and staff. Dr Irwin is the best! ! They have provided excellent care and don’t try to do unnecessary tests or treatments. I trust them. So does Mo our newf.

We have been using this veterinary clinic for 13 years, we have had our older dogs pass away, we have had new puppies coming in for shots and we always get our annual done here. When my dog passed they were kind and understanding, they didn’t suggest a whole bunch of unneeded tests or procedure. They even sent a sympathy card afterwards. The veterinarian is wonderful with all dogs we have had and great with me as I’ve fallen apart when I’ve lost one of my dogs. I highly recommend this clinic, I now live an hour and a half away and I still drive to Minter Clinic because I know they will take care of my babies as if they were their own!

I have been seeing Dr. Irwin for quite a number of years and through all of our pets. He is very compassionate and knowledgable. I’m an RN and he knows that I too possess some knowledge so he takes me back and shows me things like x-​rays so I can see what he is trying to point out. Because of my medical knowledge, when I suggest something he really listens to me and we talk it over. He never seems in a hurry. His staff has put down a number of our dogs when it was their time and they have come out to the car, sedated them, let us spend time with them to say goodbye, and then they would come out again and put them down. The last time it was my son’s dog and Dr. Irwin himself came out to the car and did it. He’s been taking care of my two Scotties for almost nine years and our Leonberger for five years. He’s great!

Absolutely love this vet! They are so nice & you can tell they really care about my dogs. They work with you and their prices are very reasonable. The vet is awesome too. Very knowledgeable, friendly, caring and doesn’t push to spay or neuter my dogs (which as a breeder, vets that do just piss me off more than anything). Most recently I was very impressed that he saw my laboring female on short notice (on a surgery only day even!) to see her and the pups after one pup got stuck inside. We ended up loosing the pup, but they we just so nice about it. When we were leaving my girl was all stressed out & the pups were crying and I’m fumbling with my wallet & they tell me to just pay at my next appointment in a couple days. Now that’s service! wonderful vet & highly recommend!
