I try to avoid West Marine at all costs because I think they’re incredibly overpriced. Why anybody would shop there today is beyond me when marine parts can be purchased online for two thirds of the price of West Marine. With the amount of stores they have their buying power is tremendous but rather than passing on a fair deal they would rather hose boat owners… Fisheries in Seattle is an example of how a marine store should be run. A good supply of items had a very fair price with way less the purchasing power of West Marine. West Marine will never get another dime of my money!!!

This is a friendly little shop, Gary is knowlegable and eager to help. Prices aren’t bad if you look for sales and coupons, also in store sales can save you money. Its really handy to not have to cross the bridge. Good selection considering this is an ‘express’ location, and they can order anything you need including rigging for overnight or 2 day deliveryl.
