I have two small dogs and I have lived in the Gig Harbor for over 30 years and have taken my dogs to many different groomers over that period but until I meet a groomer at Wilco, by the name Renee my dogs didn’t know what they had been missing. She takes the time to not only do a fantastic job grooming but the patience to help make my dogs enjoy and feel safe during each and every visit. One of our dogs had a bad experience many years ago at a different groomer and doesn’t like grooming at all. But Renee and Wilco have been patient and taken the time to help my dog to like being groomed again where other groomers wouldn’t have taken him at all. I would highly recommend Renee at Wilco.

I think this place could use some customer service skills. I just bought a 44 pound bag of dog food and was struggling with it at the cash register and even drop it on the floor and not one employee even asked if I needed help. The cashier just stood watching. I shopped on 9÷27÷15 at 2:02 pm and the sale was for canidae did food. I usually buy 10 bags at a time and will looking elsewhere to buy from now on. I’d like to thank Roxanne Carol for getting back to me on this. I’ve been in a few times but it was your day off. And thank you for the offer. I’ll try to catch you the next time I’m in.

I Have taken my two dogs to Renee at Wilco numerous times now. Each time the dogs leave happy and looking great!
Renee is attentive to my dog’s needs and always does a fantastic job.
Prices are reasonable and they, so far, have the dogs finished on time as promised.

If you love your pet PLEASE READ:
I took my Australian shepherd here to be groomed 3 months ago last March. He has been groomed at other facilities but this was his first time at Wilco. He went in willingly with no issues. When I picked him up he was Unilocaling, frightened, shaking, and could not wait out of the store. When we got outside, he had diarrhea. He remained frightened FOR A WEEK! he didn’t want to eat or leave our side. I thought, «Well maybe he just doesn’t like the groomers anymore.»
TODAY I took him to Critter Clippers off of Stinson. It’s a small family owned business, very nice lady. When I picked him up he was in good spirits. He was happy as can be. No issues.
CONCLUSION: Wilco abused my dog in some way. I will never step foot in that Wilco again and I hope they aren’t abusing other shy, timid, sweet dogs.

The one groomer who does a fantastic job and leaves your pets calm and with a grooming that is exactly what you want is SabreAnn. We have used her many times and she is great with our dogs. We used other groomers at this location and were not happy with the results, and the dogs were really stressed out.

I love Stroh’s. An excellent assortment of necessities for horse owners, some nice gift items, as well as other home/​garden & pet owner items in addition to feed and landscaping items). Was in there today and saw a sign that it’s turning into a Wilco store… not familiar with them so who knows what will happen. I hope they can keep some of the character that made Stroh’s so great, especially their wonderful long term employees.
