Batteries Plus Bulbs

The worst!
Bought a battery less than 6 months ago, has never held a charge. Wanted to ride, but tired of knowing if it would start or not. Trickle charged for 12 hours, wouldn’t start.
Took it in to exchange, and was told they’d need to charge and test it to determine a replacement or not. Explained I had charged it 12 hours, and no go. They asked for patience, they’d need about 3 hours before they could test. Not happy. Told them no need to test, I’d buy another elsewhere, if this is the service I can expect. So they offered to sell me a new one. Yes, they were serious.
Went to Harley, fought a new battery, and installed. Went for a ride. Got a call saying the battery was bad, they’d warranty it. Are you kidding me? Told them 4 hours earlier it was bad, apparently it’s up to me to prove them wrong and get the warranty they promised. Was quoted corporate policy, apparently it’s buyer beware, any inconvenience is on you.
Will not be back to this, or any location.

This store is great! First time here, and not far from my house. Nice to see this chain has locations around the Valley. I needed a few watch batteries replaced and installed, plus a reliable replacement battery for my cell (I didn’t want to buy online because I’ve read too many scam stories). I was pleasantly surprised when I went to their website and found that they also carried flourescent lighting tubes, which I just needed to get. I was anticipating a haul over to Home Depot for those, but now I figured I could get everything here.
And, yes I did. The person behind the counter was helpful and got me what I needed. He said he wasn’t able to replace the watch batteries (he did try to, on one), but gave me a business card of some other place that he said that could and was reasonable. I got the new tubes, a battery for my cell with a lifetime warranty, and another battery.
The shop also has lots of lighting gadgets and charging devices for home, car, etc. I will definitely be back!

After only six months, my garage door opener quit on me. I popped into Batteries Plus, where they not only had the battery I needed but also installed it into my garage door opener. The price was pretty good, I guess. I’ll be back when it runs out again, and for any other battery needs. The guys behind the counter were nice.

I stopped in the other day and spoke to who I believe to be the owner. I told him what I was looking for and he told me in a very rude manner (we don’t carry those) so I proceeded to ask him if he knew where I could find one and again in a discourteous manner said NO! At this point I was not going to alloying this person to be rude to me any longer so I said fine and left. His next RUDE comment was (you can’t expect me to know everything) I replied, no but I do expect you to be more polite. Then, as I was exiting the door he yelled (F– YOU) to me. I was shocked. I also will never go back there again, which is a shame because it is a nice store and a convenient place to get batteries providing you don’t ask any questions. And by the way, if you own a battery store I do expect you to know everything about batteries!!!

First time visit to this store. Friendly, efficient service. They have every battery you could possibly need. Have been a customer of the Chandler store for years and got the same friendly, helpful service there too.

Every time I am in need of an odd battery for one of the many electronics we have collected over the years. I am off to Batteries Plus. It is a pretty small store, yet they seem to have that obscure battery I need.
They are very friendly and they always seem to have the exact battery I need.
