Something about this place I’m really not getting. So they manufacture security bolts, really good ones apparently… awesome. Then they advertise pretty heavily if you do a Google search for«security fasteners»… okay. Then if you visit their website, they talk about how wonderful their products are, and how they’re soooo secure because they only sell direct, not through anyone else. Just give them a call to place an order… yeah, I’m with them so far! So why is it when I call, I get Captain Condescending telling me, «Sir… we don’t SELL to the general public. We only sell in batches of THOUSANDS.» Okay, then don’t you think think this might be relevant information to put on your website? Something like, «(If you’re in the prison building industry), give us a call to place an order!(Min. Order XX, 000 pieces)»? I’m not hating this company because they won’t sell in small batches; I’m hating on them because they wasted my time with incomplete and misleading information, then tried to make me feel like an idiot for wanting to purchase their product. I don’t care what your business is, that isn’t cool. UPDATE: I wanted to update my review in light of Bryce Fasteners responding. First of all, no… they did NOT specify anywhere on their website the minimum order quantities. Not at the time I was interested in their product, they didn’t. I’m not illiterate, and would not have bothered calling if that information had been made apparent. Furthermore, if a company is not going to make apparent minimum order quantities, but advertise that they sell direct only, then have to expect that they are going to get phone calls from people wanting to buy from them. If these phone calls annoy them, fine… update your sales site. But don’t take it out on the customer. (And to whomever responded to me from Bryce Fasteners? I hate people who use that, «Hate is a strong word…» mantra. You belittled a person interested in your product for no reason at all, because your own marketing department dropped the ball. I feel justified in my use of the word, thank you very much).
