Elaine took family pictures in the Fall of 2014.
1. She took the pictures directly into the sun. We questioned it at the time, but she assured us they would be fine. The pictures were too light and we couldn’t see the side of some peoples faces. She retouched them, but we still weren’t happy.
2. The poses lacked creativity and were all in a line and not stacked. We had a lot of people, so the group photos were really wide and very unpractical to print and frame. All of our family was together and that doesn’t happen very often, so the photos are priceless in that regard. I just expected more from a professional.
3. I asked for a contract when I reserved the time, but she said that she would bring it to the shoot. The price was higher than I expected with add ons that were probably reasonable, just unexpected. Not much I could do then as the pictures were taken and I wasn’t going to do it again.

We visited family in Arizona from Maryland in Dec 2012 and we had planned the shoot toward the end of our visit but it rained the last 3 days we were there. I was in touch with Elaine via email trying to plan a time and place in between the rain drops. Her customer service is by far one of the best experiences I’ve had. She replied to emails within hours, she was so accommodating and flexible with dates, times, and locations. She made suggestions of alternative places to go, considering the bad weather. We received our CD in the mail within days of submitting our selections and best of all, we’re very happy with our family portraits. I would absolutely recommend her services to anyone! Thank you, Elaine. We’ll see you on the east coast some time.

Elaine took our family photos in the fall of 2011. I was impressed with how she assessed our venue and with all of the fabulously creative shots she planned to take. The pictures came out great! In addition, she was great with my kids and very patient-​taking pictures with a 7 and 3 year old can’t be easy. We’ll be calling on her again this year for another round of shots for sure!

Elaine came out with the ‘hot mommas’ for a birthday celebration. She’s great. Love her attitude and eye for memorable moments.
