Fry’s

Having moved to Arizona from where the grocery store Wegmans originated (Rochester, NY) and is hard to beat, I was sure that we would never find a grocery such as this in AZ. I still have yet to encounter a store with such variety as Wegmans, but Fry’s tries. It’s clean and has competitive pricing. It offers a wide variety of products and fresh produce. The customer service is very good here. They also have gasoline points that gives you cents off gas each time you spend money at the store. Good store.

The staff is absolutely amazing, especially Dee! Always someone there to help when needed, reasonable prices. Love the fuel points!

I was a huge fan of this location until today. Do not shop here unless you want to be degraded and humiliated. I was escorted by an employee to return a small box (shoe box size) that was was full of the 12 packages of the product I was going to buy (only 15 small packages fit in a box). Watch out for very rude employees and don’t try to take any of the boxes!

This is definitely the best Fry’s in my neck of the woods (near San Tan Village mall). Customer service is fabulous and the produce section is far better than others in the area (cough* Baseline/​Power Fry’s * cough). Sometimes the prebagged lettuce is browning and it can be challenging to get by in the aisles with the workers restocking since they leave their carts in the middle instead of off to the side. Aside from that, I am always quite pleased… especially with the deli counter.
Connie assisted me this past week and was prompt, friendly and made great recommendations. While she helped me, her colleague asked if he could get started on any additional items for my order. What great teamwork and service! The Boar’s Head meat always tastes fresher here than Sprouts and the deli always gets our order right and cut the way we like.

Love Fry’s Marketplace! Great deals on everyday stuff

We used to shop at this Fry’s pretty much every week. The last several times we have been in it has been awful. On a few occasions the produce is sub par. On another occasion they were completely out of chicken breast… none in the store what so ever how does that happen??? On another occasion there were flys, like not 2 flys but like 50+ flys swarming the rotisserie chicken. I brought it to the attention of an employee in the selfie and I was told…“it’s Arizona, it’s hot and we are located next to farm land… we can’t help it”. OMG!!! REALLY!!! We have since started shopping at Target and Basha’s.

Service is friendly. Store is clean but they’re often out of items I’m looking for like some of the almond milks or Ezekiel bread. I need to learn that this isn’t my «quick stop» store and going to Sprouts is likely to save me time and money.

I have to say that this Frys has the best customer service ever. Everyone is so friendly, from the cashiers to store managers and even the ladies who work at the Deli section. Plus, Frys does offer a wide range of product variety from lottery tickets to cosmetics. Vegetables are on sale everyweek, and a Starbucks store is coming soon. This place is my favorite.

Nice store, friendly staff and seemingly a well-​stocked store in a convenient location. So why only 3-​stars? Because as I walked in from the parking lot, I was taken aback by the amount of litter in the lot and along the walkways. Throw in weeds and cigarette butts to make it more unappealing. Regrettably, the front entryway we used wasn’t much better, with overflowing trash cans and litter up to the entryway. The manager needs a primer in first impressions.

I’m not a huge, huge fan of Fry’s but I do periodically shop here for their sales when they are really good. A few times, I’ve had some issues, and they are ALWAYS willing to do whatever they need to appease me.
I remember one time they had something priced wrong, like corned beef, and it rang up really expensive. This was one of their sale items at a really good price, like $ 1.99/lb. I bought like a bunch and it became very expensive because it was the wrong price. I went through the self-​checkout area.
Not only did they easily refund the difference and did not make it painful, they didn’t make me grovel or anything like some places were. They gave me I think 1 – 2 free corned beefs and then like gift card for my troubles. Wow!
Another time, something rang up wrong in self checkout and I had to go to customer service because I didn’t notice until I got to the car. They refunded my money and gave me the item for free.
There are some drawbacks to Fry’s in general — not enough registers with cashiers and lines are long, but thankful for self checkout. The parking lots are always filled with people and crazy drivers. Guess the coupons and great sales drive the droves to their stores. Despite this, I always receive excellent customer service from Fry’s from looking for stuff, to issues, to wrong pricing, whatever it is. There is always someone willing to help me.
The customer service stations are always nice. Periodically we get lottery tickets as gifts from family and we have no clue. We just take the tickets to the counter and they are so friendly and tell us if we have winners or not.
So, despite the few negatives, I give them 5 stars because they have excellent customer service and that will make me a customer for a long time.

I’ve stopped here plenty of times for this & that. clean store & good customer service. Most important is the fuel, love getting a discount on fuel!

This is a classy grocery store! Sounds weird, right? But that’s seriously how i felt going in for Doritos and Coke Zero yesterday. I also like that the layout introduces you to the produce and natural foods section upon entering, and if you REALLY want the junk food, you gotta hoof it to the other end of the store (literally; the crap is on the farthest wall from the entrance. The alcohol is closer than the snacks).
Super convenient when I’m on the east side hangin’ with friends. All i need to do is fill out the Frys card info sheet and I’m golden.

It’s your typical grocery store. Right now in Gilbert where I live, you have two choices: Walmart or Frys. I prefer Frys as there are less people that shop here that look like they belong on

Depending on the cashier you’ll get checked out super fast or super slow. All of the cashiers I’ve gone through have all been super friendly and haven’t forgotten if I needed stamps or ice!

This Fry’s is a good one. It’s clean, and their produce is usually good. They have a good variety of products, too. This is probably my favorite Fry’s, and not just because it is closer to home.

This is a clean well lighted store. Their produce always seems to be fresh and their seedless melons are fantastic (in season). I really like their deli meats, but beware there can be line at any time, day or night. The only negative thing I can post, Some items are priced higher than some of the surrounding stores. All in all, I’d recommend this Fry’s to anyone.
