Landscape Excellence

Our experience with the owners of this business was far from ideal. It is very similar to the former Unilocal post of Cheryl W in 2014.
We felt as if we were treated poorly over what is advertised as a free estimate, but what in actuality the owners demanded payment for, from us, even though they were not retained.
We do not recommend this business based upon our dealings with them.

We are very pleased with our new patio. David and the crew were punctual. Met the time schedule and were within budget. Exellent attention to detail. No surprises. Would definitely recommend and hire them again.

Both my wife and I were very pleased with the complete front yard renovation project performed by Landscape Excellence. To summarize, I’ll share our experience from beginning to end:
Contract was done thru the owner, Randy. He is knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. While another bid was less costly, Randy did make some adjustments in order to be competitive.
The plant selection process was excellent! The owners wife, Debbie, met my wife at the nursery and my wife was able to select the plants with the advice and guidance of Debbie. This was a really positive experience that resulted in a very positive outcome.
The work crew arrived early every day. Not only were they good workers but they were all fluent in English and it made for good two-​way communication. The crew leader, David, was easy to deal with and he frequently provided good suggestions. After doing a complete make over of our front yard which encompassed 75+ new plants & shrubs, new irrigation drip system, new low voltage lighting, a decorative retaining wall plus 2 entryway pedestals — we were very pleased with the outcome and the visual appeal of our front yard.
As with any project, good on-​going dialogue between customer and the work crew is necessary to achieve desired results and expectations…
Two things that prevented us from giving them 5 stars:
1)There should be a ‘change order’ process in order to manage cost and make customer aware of added costs to the agreed upon contract
2)The work crew needs to drape existing pavers to avoid cement stains and then spending time having to clean them up.
Bottom line — we would recommend Landscape Excellence LLC to others.

I went to the home and garden show and made an appointment for them to come out
and give me a free estimate. I showed him a picture of my yard and told him it was just over an acre. He said fine and made a date. He was a half hour late without calling and then got out of car looked around and said you want to do the whole yard? I said yes and he said he would have to charge me 500.00 for the estimate. I said no I told you how big it was. He said no way was he doing it for free. I said then you are not doing it. I went on his web site and it says any size and free estimates. I would not use him, if he was for free now.

We found Landscape Excellence after interviewing 5 landscapers to remodel and expand our backyard patio and courtyard. They are highly competitive in their pricing. Randy and Debra were considerate of our time limitations with the Christmas holiday and worked with our schedule. Randy, Matt and their team created a beautiful environment by installing pavers, fire pit and trees. We appreciate the consideration and diligence of their team. We witnessed hard work performed in an efficient manner to complete the project on time. They were always considerate and courteous. We have had several inquiries from our neighbors about them and we are happy to tell them about their fine work.
