REACT Defense Systems/Krav Maga of Gilbert

I’ve been coming here for a few years now, off and on. All I can say is that the training is great – both for getting fit and for learning modern defensive techniques. The instructors are knowledgeable and friendly. However, as a student attending this location, I feel I should respond to the prior review:
It is true that they have contracts, but I have had much more difficulty negotiating around my contract with LA Fitness than I ever have here. Each time I needed to take a little time off due to travels or school they were more than willing to suspend the billing until I returned. I have also accidentally missed two payments over the years because of changing credit-​cards, and they were very flexible in fixing the situation, not involving any debt collection at all.
I must wholeheartedly disagree from Marcus F.‘s review, where it indicated it is an unethical business. They are a small business that gets to know their students personally and seek to keep them happy. I agree that the price is high, until you consider that it includes as many classes as you wish to attend. Personally, I try to attend 8 classes a week (doing back-​to-​back classes some days). Even taking Marcus’s figure of $ 150 (which is at the top of their pricing options), that works out to about $ 4.69 per class – a heck of a deal for an hour of training.
I am sorry if Marcus F. had a bad experience, but speaking from my own I can say it is not typical. I recommend this company too all my friends who are looking to get into shape or would like to be able to defend themselves.
