I’ve hiked here many times before and it’s one of my favorite short hikes that is in the direct local area. Good sized parking lot. Good for an average hiker, and isn’t too rugid for kids or dogs as well. Roughly 2 hours to complete depending on pace, etc. Be sure to bring bug spray though! The top has a very beautiful view over looking the lake.

Great moderate hike, a little bit of rocks and mud but otherwise great lake view. Careful about mosquitos around the stream region though — I’d def recommend using bug spray before going.
