They came to our home to change the locks right away. Very pleasant, curteous and did the job quickly. Very reasonable charges also. We have no hesitation in recomending them.

First time in about 10 years I locked my keys in the car. I spent an hour on the phone trying to renew my AAA card and then they tell me I have to wait 48 hours for the free unlock service. I’m ok with that because they said they would recommend a locksmith and they did. This guy quoted $ 150 for an unlock. I called Ace Locksmith and he gave me a $ 65 estimate. They were later than they said they would be but got the car open right away. Excellent job!

I called Ace at 6:00 pm on a Saturday night hoping someone might come out and fix our front door lock that started out frozen and ended up with sheared key lodged in the lock. Mark assured me he could fix it and would out to our home 10 minutes later. Upon his timely arrival, Mark immediately assessed the problem and was able to fix it in no time. We will definitely call Ace Locksmith again should the need ever arise.

Called this in-town local Gilroy locksmith. I spoke to Al the day before to get quotes, he sent out one of his Locksmiths Mark who was very knowledgeable and professional and on time. He had the job done quickly with everything working perfectly and at a fair price. Highly recommended!

I had a good experience with Ace. After foolishly locking my own keys in my car, I realized that I’d better get someone to jimmy my car if I wanted to get home that day. After calling around, Ace gave the best bid. Besides, the other places seemed rude. Within 15 minutes, the guy showed up, and with skills of a professional car-jacker, opened my door in a jiffy. I paid gladly, and he thanked me courteously. Glad that there are still nice small businesses out there!

I asked the Locksmith if he could install a deadbolt lock on a 2 inch thick garden gate door. He said he could use my existing deadbolt from the old gate and sink it in for $ 90 at 11 –12 am the next day. I took the old lock off the old gate and put it in a baggie, wth screws, and placed it near the new gate. When he was an hour and a half overdue, I called him. He said he was busy on a job that was taking too long, and could make it by 1pm. He arrived sometime after 1 pm, and started on the gate. I was standing by because we have two pet chickens and I was keeping them away from the gate. I noticed he was holding the drill crooked and mentioned it to him, and he didn’t respond. A few minutes later he said, look, I need to work alone, can you give me some space? I was standing about 5 feet away. I was still watching the chickens, so I stayed in the immediate area. He said he was needed a tool, and left for 20 minutes or so. He came back and spent another hour and a half completing the job. I noticed he had bent up the lock face a bit getting the screw into it probably because the lock had to be crooked due to the crooked hole he drilled. He announced I was missing two screws for the bolt. I said they were in the baggie, and he snorted, looked around for the baggie which he had tossed aside, and said ’ they weren’t in there’. I searched my extra parts collection and found to suitable screws. When he was done, he announced I owed him $ 110 due to the extra work he had to do. I declined to pay more than the agreed amount. He was late, surly, and less then professional. I actually should have docked HIM for installing the lock crooked and bending up the face! I could have done that kind of work myself.
