As time has passed, my patience for shopping has dwindled. Because I’m a deal hunter, I do a majority of my shopping online. When shopping in-stores, I usually stick to three specific stores-Macy’s, Van Heusen, and Target(the quality of Target’s clothing has dramatically improved). However, I must admit that I was extremely excited when I discovered the Express Outlet store. I have always been a fan of Express clothing. The only issue that I had were their prices. One dress shirt at the regular Express Store can cost as much as $ 60. For $ 60, you can buy two dress shirts and a tie at the Van Heusen outlet store. This Express store is amazing! They have a wide variety of colors in men’s dress shirts, dress pants, v-necks, and shorts. I’m going on a Caribbean vacation next month, so I was on a mission to find clothing in colors outside of the traditional greys, blacks, and blue’s. I was able to not only find some nice vacation clothes, but also clothing that I can wear into the office. The store is well organized/stocked, and the final markdown prices are clear. When all was said and done, my significant other and I walked out of the store paying $ 300 for 15 total items. My only gripe with this store(take a wild guess) is their lack of customer service. There is a difference between bad customer service, and no customer service. When I walked into the store, there was no one at the registers to greet me. When I wandered the store, the only employee that I spotted was so focused on folding clothing that she didn’t acknowledge any customers. The only acknowledgement that I received was when the fitting room attendant needed to count my items. When we were ready to checkout, we stood at the front counter for 2 minutes before a cashier came to ring us up. I understand that working at an outlet store is not the most glamorous job(I’ve worked retail before), I also understand that the tourists that usually frequent these outlets are generally rude. However, I think that some form of customer service should be implemented. Overall, this store is amazing! Next time I’m going to give the one in Vacaville a try.

Its an outlet, what do you expect? Of course no ones going to greet you, its not the same as a mall. Anyways, i loved this place a true shopper goes for great deals! And oh man did i come up today! Im from san diego & we dont have much express factory outlets down there, but this place is great! They have the same things as some of the stores! I shop at express on a seasonal basis & they keep a lot of the same things throughout the year & here its just much cheaper! I love it! As far as customer service goes, our cashier was great! I asked about discounts(on an already discounted store, right i know? Im cheap as hell) and the only discount i got was a 10% for military! Holla! I was happy, left this place with a pencil skirt & two tops! Of course i went to other stores, but hey outlets are simply the overstock, or those styles that didnt make the cut. Or were taking forever to sell, same make model maybe some cheaper. Whatever, i was satisfied.

Went in the other day and has horrible service. No one greets you and no one asked if we needed help the whole 20 minutes I was there. Manager needs to train their employees better because obviously they never did receive any training.

Traveled from San Jose to go to this outlet on a Sunday and it was closed due to inventory. I will not be shopping here since they obviously do not care about customers or sales on the weekend.

The second star is only because they have a decent selection for an outlet. Couldn’t rate the customer service because we didn’t get any. The manager on duty had time to ring up her friend, but not the rest of the people in line; paging others to do it instead. At least she acknowledged us to let us know someone would be there shortly, but she definitely could have rang us up instead of paging two different people to the registers. Granted, there were only a few of us in line… But having been a retail manager for close to ten years myself… You clear the line before sauntering off to the back room.
