negative stars if i could, had been with dr. barbara for a few years, was misdiagnosed on two different cases. if you get to see the actual doctor or one of his crew, it’s like they’re doing you a favor treating you. i rather bleed and deal with pain than deal with this crooked medical practice. if you’re a parent, do the research and take your child to place that cares about people. it’s worth taking the time, because this place will not help you feel better and you’ll be wasting your time. sad but true, i stand bye every word, this dr. and his group are a total waste of your time, and you or you’re child’s pain.

I have been with Dr John Barbaras office for years, the care is exceptional, he is very caring, and listens to what you have to say, I am a complex patient, and he works with me no matter what. The front desk staff are great, always helpful and understanding, great attitude. People have to understand their job is very hard and stressful and only so many appointments to go around. The other doctors and staff are great to, I wouldn’t change offices for nothing.

Dr. Barbara’s clinic is exactly that, a clinic. It is NOT an acute care facility, and it is not an emergency room. To all the people that whine about that, and leave poor reviews because of it, you need to re-evaluate. I have been a patient at Dr. Barbara’s for close to ten years. They are usually quite busy, being an affordable care clinic, so it can occasionally be difficult to get an appointment. They can usually squeeze me in for something important. You will USUALLY see a PA, just like in most clinics nowadays. John Barbara is sharp, and knows what he is doing. If you end up seeing a student PA, they always confer with the onsite chief before recommending anything. The Dr. and PAs there take the proper approach to depression, etc. If that’s what you’re going for, they will refer you to a more qualified place. Don’t go looking for a narcotic drug handout, or some type of quick fix, because you will most likely not receive it. Good medicine starts with other alternatives. Long story longer, I have almost always been satisfied with the care I have received. You need to be organized, know what you are there for, and make the proper requests. THAT is how you get the care you need.

Been to this office 3 times. Never met the actual doctor(joseph barbara). One time a girl asked me tons of questions she read from a computer, making it pretty obvious she was not a real doctor. Hard to make an appointment. If I call they always say«next week.» Another time I called early morning about an allergic reaction to medication and received no follow up call. Its frustrating that this doctor takes advantage of the system. I have no choice but to use this doctor because of insurance. Ahh!

We care clinic was a life saver for me when we were in between health insurance and my daughter had a severe asthma flare up. They saw her immediately and got down to business, we were in and out and picked up meds within 45 minutes, plus got a sample inhaler for a treatment while we were still in the room. Their fees are very reasonable.(as long as you don’t have to get labs, which is a different entity. but still…) We have anthem now so we stay with the network drs, but if I ever found myself needing We Care Clinic/Dr Barbara I would not hesitate.
