R + L Carriers

These guys are shady! They were supposed to ship a motor for me, and in doing so have screwed with me non-​stop, and blamed all of it on me. I paid for the motor and shipping, not only has it taken way longer than they said to get here, but now they are asking me for more money to deliver to my house.
When they called to set up the delivery, they gave me a 4 hour window as to when my motor might be there. The major problem was that they didn’t BOTHER to tell me that someone HAD to be there to sign for it. They did tell me that they didn’t unload up steps, or into homes, but no mention of someone signing anything to accept delivery. Since my wife and I each work multiple jobs, neither of us was there to accept the delivery.
The driver called me from IN FRONT of my house with my motor and asked what he should do with it. I told him to leave it at the top of my driveway near my wife’s car. He told me he wasn’t sure if he could and had to call the company to see if he could and promised he would call me right back. Not only did he not call me, but he then refused to answer any of the 3 calls I made to him after we talked.
So I called the company back this morning, and now they are demanding I pay another delivery fee to get me my motor. I asked if I could pick it up at their shipping location, they said sure, but it would cost me the SAME delivery fee AGAIN as it going to my house. They also refused to tell me what that «new» delivery fee is. They said they have to call the retailer who sold me the motor to find out what the fee will be.
These guys are scammers, and when you call them on their BS, they turn back around and blame it on you, the customer who used their services!
Avoid this copmany like the plague!!!
