The day after I got my nails done, almost every one of them started chipping and breaking, when I went back and asked if hey could just remove them she said she could do the acrylic again… I told her I would rather just have them removed since it seemed like they were just bad quality. And she tried to charge me 12 dollars… When she was removing acrylic they messed up the day before worth $ 30. She said since this was a different service she would have to charge me… When I asked for a manager she just kept repeating «I don’t know anything»… Then she proceeded to take the nails off and it hurt sooo bad my nails still hurt, worst experience ever

I’ve gone here for years and every once in a while just little nagging things happen… Like a regular fill should be $ 15, but one guy I always wound up with jacked the price up a few bucks a few times, when no other service was done, overly rough techs with the dremel, sloppy cuticle oil application that takes forever to get off or your polish won’t dry…
I decided that I won’t have this particular guy do my nails anymore and noticed that he’s not around anymore, so…
Went in for my usual fill around 2:00 in the afternoon. yesterday and all the techs were busy and I was told the wait would be 10 minutes when I asked… Learned that’s standard for just sit down and we’ll get to you when we can.
I chose a color from their dwindling selection, not meant for teenagers or dancers of a certain type, and waited a good 25 minutes.
Finally seated, the gal was in a hurry as illustrated by the number of times she stabbed or burned me with various utensils.
I wasn’t inclined to tip as well as I usually do.
Once my nails were painted, she sat me in front of the fans not under the lights.
And disappeared for twenty minutes I knew it would take a while to dry my nails because she’d over loaded them with polish. I sat there for twenty minutes after which point, she said I was fine to go.
I was careful as usual and my nails seemed pretty tacky for a while. I went to bed around 11:00 that might only to wake up at 6:30 with ruined nails from the sheets and blankets.
I went back today and showed the lady who I think is the co owner of the shop. She asked who did the work and the gal who did stepped forward. The owner was very polite and understood that my nails needed to be repainted.
I wished that he same gal didn’t do the fix. Just as rough as before, using her nail along the edges of mine to remove excess polish. I let her know no fan this time. Please use the lights… Once she sat me down there, she walked away and left me there to try to figure out when I was through, and that was the last I saw of her. I had to flag down the owner and she was more helpful.
This was the worst customer service experience I’ve had from one of their techs. Two stars for the owner wanting to make it right, but no more for not insisting on good (and gentle) customer service from this tech.
I think it’s time to look for another place. Over being over charged and hurt…

I believe they closed at 7 right when I was walking in! Yet she still took her time with me!

Been to better places! They charge too much for what you get! The wait wasn’t bad, but they didn’t have a lot of options for nail color, I have psoriasis and I wanted to talk to the lady doing my pedicure (if you can call it that) ran to someone else before I could talk to her, so she embarrassed me in front of everyone there, they proceed to question me and I was trying to tell then I didn’t want them to touch my skin, while they proceed to tell me they could only cut my nails and cuticles, that’s all I wanted but they had to embarrass me with no care to my feelings. I will never go back!

How sweet are those little girl pedicure chairs!!! My two girls first time and they had a blast. Everything was great here. No complaints. I would definitely come back.

I always come here to get my nails and eyebrows done and the prices are ok and the wait sometimes is a bit long but its fast and easy so its good besides they do a fabulous job :)

Worst manicure ever. Didn’t trim my cuticles, nail polish applied like my son did the job, just couldn’t have cared less. Waste of $ 10. Never going back.

Keep the price and convenience in mind folks! You can always walk in and rarely wait. My whole family gets the haircuts (and color) done by Diana and she is a pro, quick and ridiculous low price. I can’t believe I used to pay $ 100 for a cut so I could get cucumber in my water and a fancy atmosphere. Thuy and Johnny are the best for pedicure/​manicure respectively. And again, super convenient hours and location and great prices. I couldn’t be happier coming here. If something isn’t right, the owners make it right.

This is the second time I’ve been here and I was just reminded of why I never came back before.
Their nail color selection is terrible and messy. We sat in the chairs. Someone finally attended to us to turn on the water… But only mine. Not my mom’s. I thought the man was going to come back to turn on my mom’s, but nope! 10 – 15 min later, a woman came to me to start my pedicure. I asked her to turn on my mom’s water and she kinda rolled her eyes.
On to the services. I had a piece of my toenail partially broken off. Instead of filing it down and fixing it, the lady asked if I wanted glue. Why would I want that?! My pedicure was completed in 15 min. I think that’s quite a record! She definitely rushed through that. She rushed through my mani, didn’t even bother to ask me if I wanted to trim my nails or just file it down. As soon as I got home, I had to clean up the edges of my nails, the skin around it because she didn’t do that great of a job.
My mom picked this place cause it’s the cheapest in town. I guess you get what you pay for. Definitely 100% sure about NOT coming back here again. I’d rather pay $ 50 for a much much much better mani/​pedi.

I’ve been coming here for about a year now and I have to say that SUSAN knows how to cut hair! She is always polite and gives the time needed to make sure I look good!

Great service! Owners are courteous and professional and always take the extra step to make you feel beautiful before you leave the shop. The extra attention to detail, the dedication and hard work brings me back ever two weeks for my shellac mani pedi. Last time Jennifer did my nails, she tried something for the first time from a picture I found online. I loved it! She tried a couple times and wanted to try again without me telling her, but the. She would genuinely ask what I thought and took my constructive criticism and did an amazing job on my nails. See pic.
I also got my hair cut here. Just a trim and blow dry. I can’t remember her name but she did a fantastic job. I got compliments left and right. I don’t know what tools they use but my hair was looking straighter than ever. I loved it!

This review is for Susan, who waxes mine and my daughters eyebrows. She also cut my daughters hair.
Susan does such a great job. So far, she is the only person that I’ve gone to that didn’t result in a skin rash after waxing. It doesn’t matter if I call ahead or just walk in, she always accommodates me. There have been times where she’s been busy with a hair color, etc, but I don’t mind waiting for her.
As far as haircuts, I was hesitant to try a new hairdresser, as I’ve always taken my daughters to my hairdresser (which was becoming costly). I needed a last minute-​before school pictures-​haircut for my daughter, and couldn’t get her in to our usual hairdresser. Someone recommended Top Tip Toe. I honestly forgot that they cut hair. So we went in and got right in with Susan. She did such a great job on my daughters a-​line that I couldn’t tell a difference between her skills and my normal hairdresser! Although my bank account could tell the difference… it was about ¼ of the price I had been paying!
Thanks Susan! Don’t know what we (or our eyebrows!) would do without you!

I love this place!
Johnny and Diane (owners) have always treated me like like family. The atmosphere is very inviting and I am always kindly greeted at the door. It’s nice being offered water or tea each visit and my nails are always done beautifully.
I typically get the #4 pedi option and a shellac mani which lasts forever, but I still go in weekly. :)
Tina or Susan do my waxing and have been doing a great job for the last 10 years.
I always call first to make an appt.
I highly recommend this Salon. :)

This is the place to go for your hair cut, nails or other spa services. The staff is friendly and very nice. I got my hair cut here and my stylist was swift and skillful. The price is reasonable. The salon is spacious which gives you the relaxing feeling when you enter. They do get busy, but still deliver great service. I would come back here again any day.

I had the terrible misfortune to have a fill and gel polish done at this abysmal place. I never really expect super friendly service from any nail salon, but these people looked at me like I was about to the rob the joint.
When someone finally decided to let me sit down and get a fill, the station was filthy, the man who did my nails was rough, and the fill turned out uneven and 2 nails cracked after 2 days. Not to mention, the gel polish pealed off of 3 nails.
Don’t do it, People. Do not go in here — run away and never look back! Horrible!

I went to get a haircut at tip top toe. I got a small cut on my ear. The haircut was not gentle at all. I thought since I am only 9 years old it would be gentle. Is it a haircut or a «earcut». I’m glad I walked out with my ear stuck to my body and a good haircut. A good thing is that my mom and aunt really love the massages and nail polish and think they are very relaxing.

Quality customer service– attentive & sweet; full service– I get great hair cuts and eyebrow waxing here every time for a fraction of the cost

Every time I come here I always feel like my own home, the staffs are very great of their service. The manager in charge is supper nice, he walk around the store making sure everyone been help, offer coffee and water. The store is always clean and free off trash or hair on the floor which is very pleasant and that is very important to me and I am sure all these other customer as well. I will definitely tell all my family and friends to come here, great job.

It’s really hard to find a good place that will take care of you and be patient when doing your nails. Normally when you go to a nail salon they’re trying to rush you and go as quick as possible to get the next person, which in turn means that they don’t do a good job.
Today I had a great experience with a woman named Katherine who was very patient with me and let me describe what I wanted on my nails. She did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend next time if you need to get your nails done and you do choose top tip toe salon ask for Katherine!

i can sympathize with some of these bad reviews… i’ve had some really bad pedis in the south bay…
BUT
i’ve never experienced anything but the utmost in customer service and a high quality outcome for my manis, pedis and waxing…
i often get french manicures and every time they warn me that it will only last 2 days… but as usual i’m on day 5 of my manicure and it still looks fab!
only complaint is the oil after waxing… that makes me break out… i suggest to skip the oil if your skin is sensitive like mine — bring your own face wash and they will let you wash your face after :)
OH i’ll leave an extra little review for my husband, he gets massages here, he likes them, he just wishes they would use more pressure on his back… so 4 stars from him too?
