We stopped in here again for post skiing snacks and I confirmed the following… They never carry skim milk, and they do make their own doughnuts every morning. It’s disappointing that they don’t carry skim as many people are lactose intolerant. But I do like the fact they make their own donuts and pastries.

Terrible attitude from the lady at the counter. I imagine with all of the tourists coming through, asking silly questions, dirtying up the bathrooms, that it can be an annoying job. But I’d still rather not deal with the attitude just to get a donut. Coffee was mediocre. Donuts were good(I recommend the maple Bavarian, because it just seems right, and it was good). Baklava was just so-so. Fritters, cookies, and other things are HUGE, so a star for that. But I probably wouldn’t stop again if I was passing through.

I really wanted to like this place. Really really. When I asked for the children’s hot cocoa not too hot, and she handed it to me scalding hot, she was going to put ice in it to cool it down. I asked her to remake it, she said ok. Instead of remaking it, she poured cold milk in it and handed it back to me. Then the pastries and goodies LOOKED amazing, but really, they were bland and unflavorful. And in not just saying that because she didn’t remake my cocoa. (We got the blueberry fritter, the brownie, a muffin and a danish. The danish was ok. The rest, was not.) I’m so glad I found the Grind the next day, down Alyeska on Hightower. Go there! They’re coffee is wonderful, roasted there, in store, and their offerings are delish.
