We are extremely pleased with the repair that Grand Openings did to our old door. After nearly 100 years our door was in good shape, but the glass was loose, the weather stripping gone, the door handle lock didn’t work, etc. The screen door (only 30 years old) was out of alignment and needed a tug or a push to shut. Several door companies said the door and sidelights would need to be replaced at a cost of $ 6,000+. Thanks to Truex Builders Supply, for recommending Dale and Grand Openings. Sean, Dale’s partner, did excellent work on the door! Everything is now fitting and working as it should! Sean even set the deadbolt lock and the handle lock to use the same key! And he very kindly put in a new door bell to match the handle on the screen door. Communication with Carole was always good, they were on schedule, and completed the work on time. I highly recommend Dale and Sean if you need to have an old door that needs repair!

Grand Openings recently completed a door project on a home I am managing. The Door was a mess, lots of dry rot and issues with the jam, hinges, storm door and side light with rot as well… This door was a mess and I thought it would need to be replaced but the awesome employees at Grand Openings were able to repair everything! They were punctual, extremely knowledgeable and professional. They cleaned up the job site and finished on time and on budget! Really can’t say enough.

We are extremely pleased with the work that Dale did for us. Not only did Dale align our front, patio, and door going to garage but he fixed the dry rot that was under the door step of our front door. This job was not easy as it took hours to do it the right way. Honestly, if he did not take the time to repair this we would not have given it a second thought and we would have had more issues down the road. So not only did he do the job we asked but he went beyond and fixed the dry rot problem too. Now when we go to lock the front door we don’t have to keep jiggling it to get the key to turn it works better than when it was new 18 years ago!!! Dale is honest and so very reasonable, he doesn’t care how long it takes because it does it right the first time. We highly recommend him! And my husband very rarely gives out compliments — I have been with him 35 years so I know!

Dale just installed new French Doors out on to our deck. He is very knowledgeable, high integrity, great craftsman, high value and he’s very personable! He is just finishing up the work now (on Memorial Day Weekend!) and meticulously cleaning up… If you need a new door — he will so you right!
