Worth the detour. Friendly staff and made from scratch menu items make it a rare find. Highly suggest any soup on the menu and the salad bar on week days.

Once again, I was home visiting and had to go to Touches. They had the best Beef Rivel soup, yum yum and their desserts are the best I’ve had anywhere. This time had the Turtle Cheesecake and it was delicious. My aunt had the soup as well and a piece of Peanut Butter Pie. She gobbled it up but did say it wasn’t very peanut buttery. I’ll always go back here though for lunch whenever I can.

This is a real find, if you like good food and coffee, this place is great! I find it hard to believe this restaurant is in such a small town like this. The food is of the highest quality and the attached café is as close to a Coffee Barrister you are going to get in the Midwest.
The main café person is very, very well versed in coffee and beans and quality. I have traveled all over the country and some in Europe and this guy knows his stuff.
If you are a coffee house fan, I don’t think you will be disappointed. In fact I think you need to make this small café a stop if you are a coffee snob.
The deserts available are all made from scratch on location, I have eaten there many times and the deserts are always worth the trip alone, Add a Mocha with it and you’ll have a worthy sugar rush. Of course you can get everything coffee made without sugar and skinny if you like.
Did I happen to mention they make 90% of their food is made completely from scratch?
If you have not figured it out, I highly recommend this small, out of the way, and quite place.
They have a small, and private meeting room in the basement.
Upstairs they have the restaurant, café and a very nice gift shop and art framing business.
If you need anything framed here, they also do a real quality work and again, at reasonable prices. If you live within 70 miles, and you are framing a large piece, it would be worth the trip just to have it done.
If you don’t know where to look for the place, it is in the same building as the small post office, a barber shop and beauty shop. Just across the street from the bank.
At this time they don’t have wireless available but they are working on it and should have it in the future. Call first, and ask if you need it.
