I need at gift for a wedding. They did not have it in the store but was able to order it on line and send it to the wedding. The gift arrive before the wedding. The staff was very helpful. I was in and out in 20 mins. :)

Bought some rather expensive sheets over the weekend, although I did not forget my 20% off coupons(yes they will take one for each item), and decided I no longer wanted them. I went back today before they closed and the store was pretty empty but they still had plenty of employees on hand to help. The return process was incredibly easy and quick. I was in and out in under 5 minutes.

I have been shopping at BBB for years in many locations. I will NOT be shopping at the one on Broad Street in Glen Allen VA any more after today. To make a really long story short, I was waiting patiently in line to check out. There was an abandoned empty cart and I moved it aside, so people could go around it. What a concept. A dyed red headed woman with a nametag of L1sa comes up to my left and starts b1tching me out. Nasty tone«What line are you in? There are 2 lines here!», How about saying excuse me first? I told her I was courteous enough to move the cart and I will go to whatever cashier is next. There is no way you could form 2 lines from where I was standing bc there is no much stuff in the aisles. Well, she continued to yap, meanwhile one cashier became available. She told me it was open. Yeah, I can see that. I said«and I would be already checking out if you had stopped talking». This was all for no reason. She drank too much coffee or fought with her other or thinks bossing people around in a nasty way is good management skills. I started to check out with the cashier with my cart behind me. Well, I guess she had a problem with that. I had 2 personal items in the cart, one being a hair brush. She interrupted me with” are you keeping these?” I replied those are my personal items don’t touch those. She continued to yap. I had to repeat«those are my personal items don’t touch those» and she jumped because she actually listened to what I was saying. Up until now she was just hearing herself talk-boss lady. Yapping on and on about nothing, riding my ass for no reason. I said 3 times«Change your tone» No Change, and that was my last warning. Her reply was-get this«I am just being friendly» in the same nasty tone. Really? You are nasty. I’d hate to see what you consider nasty. Finally I said«you are a bitch». The cashier decided that he had never heard that word before and thought(I guess) I was in the wrong(he didn’t hear the first part of the ‘conversation’) and said” I don’t have to check you out” several times and gathered my items, ran to the main counter. If boss lady was so concerned about the carts and the lines, she could have gathered the cart herself(I moved it) and jumped on a register. WORK. Instead you start picking fights and bossing around people who pay you. NO you decided you were going to ride my ass for 5 minutes and you picked the wrong girl from Jersey. I am not going to take your sh1t, tell me where to go as if I don’t already know and then spend $$ there. Great manners, people skills and management. So I can see that everyone I came in contact with there today is the same-same attitude-I don’t give a sh1t. I didn’t finish what I had to do and came home, called the store, got bad manners, hung up on by one manager, called back got joe and got a unsympathetic ‘uh huh’. Tried to send an email on their website. It wont let you correct typos and deleted the 1st half of what I wrote. So I called the toll free # and it is being escalated to a district level. 3 hours I will never get back. Now I have to go back out. Thanks so much Jerks.

I love Bed Bath & Beyond. They’re prices on some things are higher than your average big box store(like shower curtains here vs. Target or Walmart) but it evens out because they send you endless coupons in the mail if you sign up. Don’t EVER buy anything without a coupon… and I’m pretty sure they take expired ones. They also allow you to return with your receipt and coupons you may have forgotten for a refund on what you would have saved. So awesome. You can’t beat them for some things, from walls of kitchen gadgets 30 feet high to duvet covers and pillow cases. They also have so many Tervis cups and a million versions of any given product. I’m known to hoard their coupons and go on a Bed Bath & Beyond binge from time to time. No shame.

I’m a fan of any place that is constantly sending out coupons to use in their stores. I’ve got a whole stack of 20% off coupons from Bed Bath & Beyond and the best things is you can use one for each item. I was having trouble finding one of the items I can for and believed it was out of stock. One of the associates was kind enough to stop her work and go look it up in the computer for me when I asked. She even offered to order the item for me. I decided to just wait till it came back in stock since it was not a rush. The girl that checked me out was pleasant enough but I think she was maybe a bit tired because she rang me up quickly and then just sort of stood there. She didn’t try to hand me my bag or anything. I have to return one of the items I purchased as it was broken when I opened the box, but I think that’s a manufacturer thing. I won’t be exchanging as I believe the quality to now be low for the item.(Not BBB fault) This location is well stocked(less my one item), clean and organized. Sometimes the rows are a little hard to navigate with a cart if there are two many people in the store though.

Forgot how plentiful this store is! It is a little hidden away, not sharing space with other stores. The store is really packed with items but the aisles are clean. I was looking for a sponge holder for my sink and a trashcan. Tried Target and Walmart first but wasn’t really satisfied for either item and they had a few options for both(many for the trashcan). It’s fairly easy to find a 20% off coupon too. I’ll have to remember to go back for other household items.

I always find myself going inside this store, whether i need something or not, it just makes you want to buy«something» for your house. I found out that those awesome coupons they send out all the time are good even if they expire. They still accept them, pretty cool right? I will try to save a dollar anywhere i can, I ended up in the enormous section of trial size things and bought a bunch a things i didn’t really need but couldn’t pass up.

I have to agree with Thomas C. This place has EVERYTHING that you can think of. If you’re not careful, you might even overlook what you need because they have so much stuff. At times, it might even seem a bit cluttered. But don’t worry there is a method to the madness. It’s a good thing that they send out coupons in the mail all the time. Because, IMHO(in my humble opinion), they are overpriced. Many times, I will go to BB&B to see what items I like and make a note of it. Then I will go to Wal-Mart or Target and find the same thing for less. It’s always less online, but that doesn’t really work out because you’d have to pay for shipping and handling. But the point is, it seems overpriced. But if you are okay with paying a bit more, you will definitely find what you need. They also have wedding/gift registry.

This place is full of SOMETHING… I like going in here as I cook a lot as a hobby and they have plenty of kitchen stuff for you to choose from. In addition, they have lots of everything including all those Ads you see on TV trying to sell you something in the house. I really like the idea how they send out a 20% coupon so you can use it at anytime. The coupon may have an expiration date, however I have yet have one be refused. This is a great help in today’s economy. I give it ONLY4 stars because they really lack in Customer Service. It may be because they are very busy, but when you need to find someone to help you… it is like looking for a needle in the haystack. So, I have found that I just go in there knowing what I want, as I will spend double the amount of time to find someone, and when I do… they do not have an answer and they intern have to look for someone who does… They need to hire more people for better Customer Service. Otherwise this is a GREAT store and I enjoy shopping in there.
