Could not have had a better experience with the car audio techs today. I spent 3 hrs with my guy this afternoon. Excellent rapport with me, explained what he was doing so I could understand. Sniffed out the problem until he found it. He did not just say it is your amp, buy a new one. He checked the amps, checked the deck, the speakers and traced the wiring to ensure he found the root problem. His attention to detail was astounding; he thought to remove his jacket so his zipper would not scratch the finish on my car as he climbed his 6’2 self into the trunk of my mustang. Phil dealt with numerous interruptions(walk in customers, coworkers and phone calls) with professionalism, patience, empathy for their issues. Each customer had his undivided attention, he did not short change anyone even though I was waiting plus(at one time) four other customers who wanted a piece of him. Normally I would be annoyed that he was interrupted finishing my job but instead I have to respect his attention to his customers and, maybe more importantly, potential customers. But we were all treated equally and you have to respect that. Additionally, I called the Sunday before todays visit, Phil spent a lot of time on the phone with me and emailed me a couple of quotes, I am sure he had a job and maybe even a customer waiting but I felt I had his undivided attention on that phone call. Bottom line — well run professional shop. The only improvement Id suggest is having a gopher(read apprentice) to keep the techs from being interrupted so much. But that is a minor annoyance compared to the superior level of service.

Stopped in here on our way through Richmond. We were prepared to buy a car stereo and a waterproof camera. We could not find anyone to help us. The straw that broke the camels back was the poor selection. They were out of just about everything we were looking for. We left.

They are keeping up with the times. Can be hard to find a knowledgeable salesperson but it nice to touch the merchandise instead of ordering online.

I went to this Best Buy simply to look at underwater cameras and was immediately approached by a very friendly, enthusiastic salesman, associate number766580, Kevin?. I asked him about the charging of the battery being internal and he told me underwater cameras have to stay watertight, therefore an internal charge connection keeps it waterproof. He asked if I had any more questions and what could do to make a sale. I told him the price was higher than I had found at another source and asked him if he would do a price match, gave him the source and once he verified it said he would be happy to match the price. He was so helpful and polite that with the new camera box in hand I went for it and then he was very considerate and helpful in suggesting a couple of accessories that he said I would likely need. I ended up buying a 14GB memory chip. He rang up the total, made the price match adjustment and I left as one happy customer with a brand new underwater camera and 14GB of memory at a price match cost. I’ll review the camera later, but found the manual easy to follow and that the internal charging was basically quite easy and once I formatted the 14GB memory card the camera was ready to set up. After setting the basics; language, date, turning on the GPS, picture quality, etc I could see that this Nikon Coolpix has way more capability than I could have imagined. It has a good feel in my hands and the buttons all react well to the touch. I liked that the controls are mostly all on the right side, easy to manipulate and I can’t wait to give it a try when I go snorkeling. Thank you Best Buy and for matching the price I found and thanks too for the very personal and friendly service I used the Nikon Coolpix on a sailing/snorkeling trip to the Bahamas and it worked great in and out of the water. The pictures turned out great. I suggest reading the manual completely to learn all its capabilities. A floating wrist band, extra memory card and a spare battery and wall charger are all important accessories. Love the camera!

The most horrible customer service I have ever received. I went into this location to purchase a life proof case for my iPhone. After finding the one I wanted I looked around for a sales associate to help me. These people literally dodge customers I’ve never experienced anything like it I was baffled. The only person that I was able to ask was a young guy that was walking extremely fast trying to yet again avoid a customer. I asked him if he had a key to unlock the peg where the case was and he said«no mam I don’t have any keys» and then started to walk away then I asked him«well do you know anyone that does?» He goes«yeah someone in mobile.» So I then ask another associate in «mobile» if he was able to unlock something for me and then I get this answer lol your gonna love this«actually I do not work for best buy» I was done I walked out extremely irritated. AVOIDTHISLOCATIONATALLCOSTS!

Sells Broken TVs and Computers Purchased a open box tv. It wouldn’t turn on. Returned it a few days later and they tried to blame me for breaking it. Someone else returned the tv and those folks at Best Buy didn’t even bother to test it before putting it out on the floor again. A few months prior I purchased a desktop for my son. Same MO. I must have broken it so that’s why it doesn’t work. I returned the desktop within 2 hours of buying it! Who has time to set up a desktop, try to figure out why it’s not powering on and then return it. They took it to the back and try to power it up. Nothing. Seriously… change the name to Place for Buying Junk.

Car stereo was installed and the Geek Squad technician was very helpful in finding the best unit that fit my requirements. The price was right and installed perfectly including an explanation of what they did. To top it off, it was completed well ahead of schedule with a prompt phone call notification.

New checkouts scattered throughout the store, left unmanned and hard to find. Consistently unknowledgable staff. I had asked a «Geek squad» member about laptops and got an «they’re all pretty much the same». Wow kid, how is it that you don’t work for Microsoft by now? Never again.

This location makes zero sense. With no legitimate checkout line, you’ll be waiting behind people who need to make returns, submit stuff to the Geek Squad or people who are asking general questions. Wait times are unbearable due to the lack of a checkout line! Avoid this location!
