Glen Allen Supermarket has been a favorite for years, but since Rhonda and her staff took over several years ago the quality of everything has gone up. Glen Allen Supermarket has a great wine and beer selection, old fashioned candies, greeting cards, a nice offering of on site prepared items for breakfast and lunch to eat in or take out, wonderful Black Angus beef plus other meats and poultry. There are items prepared ready to cook at home and an ever changing array of prepared foods ready to take home and heat in your microwave. There is a nice list of take out catering items which can be ordered for special occasions including bakery items. Rhonda offers the best New York style cheesecake around. We are lucky to have such a nice market close by. Thanks Glen Allen Supermarket!

This is what a local market should be! Great service, excellent meats, and a wonderful selection of Virginia wines. Pick up a nice steak and a bottle of Philip Carter wine for a perfect evening.

What a great little market! There’s a little bit of everything you could need here, including some prepared meal items, like oven-​ready meatloaf, and everything looks super fresh. There’s local produce out and the people are friendly. This will likely become my lunchtime stop for last minute dinner ingredients from now on when I don’t feel like fighting the traffic to get to Whole Foods for good quality meats.
If you miss the old Westhampton Market, Chucks, or Westbury Market, you would really love this place!
