I see that this place is not popular among the masses(based on the reviews), but I have to give it 4 stars. Want to know why? A little thing I like to call Customer Service. I had to print some wine bottle labels for an Elite Event that I had earlier this week. When I bought the labels a few weeks ago, the woman at the printing center said that I could just e-mail them my graphic and bring the labels back in and they’ll print them for me no questions asked. Perfect. So the day came when I got my graphics back for the wine bottle labels and so I marched my butt back into Office Max expecting a smooth situation. 2 hours later… I walked out with perfectly printed labels, but not before dealing with a ton of obstacles that were handled so well by the guy who was helping me. So, first of all the printing manager was off that day. Perfect. One guy started to help then admitted that he didn’t know anything about the printing department. Cool. He went and called someone else who was a little more knowledgeable but he was still not incredibly eager to figure out what was going on. I just knew it was going to be a long day at this point. But I told them that it was not an option and I needed them done that day. So, we pressed on. It was basically me telling them how to do it(go to the label company website, put the graphics in the template, and print). It should not have been as hard as it was. But I did appreciate his patience and tenacity throughout the situation. He never got frustrated and didn’t shoot my ideas down. In the end, we worked together to get those things printed and the result was beautiful. I’d definitely come back here for all of my printing needs!

Needed supplies to do taxes and I stopped in to my Office Max to get everything I needed. The Associates on hand were all helpful in locating everything on my to get list. Pens, Pads, File Folders, Ink Cartridges, etc. In and out in 10 minutes.

Bought 2 office chairs at this OfficeMax today. One of the boxes was open, so I asked for another one as I was told they had 4 in stock. They brought me another box(which was also opened) and said all the parts are inside. Got home and found a dozen parts missing. The instruction manual said«don’t bring this back to the store if you’re missing parts. Call us first!» I called. The operator said I need to go back to the store today so they can give me the missing parts from another box. This will perpetuate the problem for the next consumer.

$ 20.00 for a planner that is out of date. Enough said. These guys are not on top of their merchandise. Sounds like something small but it’s the fine details that kill a business. Step it up.
