In March of 2012 I referred the son of one of my best clients to Barbara to help him buy his first home. I wish I could have helped him myself, as his dad has been a repeat client for years, and very valuable referral source for me. But I am in Northern Virginia and he was buying in Richmond, too far outside my service area. As you can imagine, I was very careful with whom I placed the referral for this very important client, and I am so glad I found my way to Barbara. Joe’s purchase was not your run of the mill transaction. He chose a home that, if I remember correctly, ended up having potential structural issues and appraisal problem. She worked SO hard, and I was amazed at the research and resources she had to try to overcome these obstacles. It was nothing like you see on HGTV, I can tell you that. As a veteran agent, it takes a lot to impress me, and I was impressed by her. The client also really liked her and had very nice things to say about her during and after the transaction. As it was his first transaction, perhaps he thought it was«all in a day’s work», which, it is. And he was probably none the wiser to just how difficult it was from an agent perspective, since she handled each obstacle with grace and ease. But I can promise you that most agents would have let this buyer’s desired home slip from his grasp without putting in nearly this much effort. Thanks to all her hard work, Joe has able to get into his first home and acheive the«American Dream». Thank you Barbara! I hope to have many more opportunities to send business your way.
