I recently went to purchase a truck from them and spoke directly with the owner Dave. I told him that the company planned on using to the truck to make deliveries. He then showed me a truck he said would be a good fit. I later asked him if he could provide me with paperwork, numbers, etc on truck so that we could move forward with the process. He said that he would but never sent anything. I reached out to him the next day & he said he was in Norfolk & that he would send paperwork to me on the next day. Again I don’t hear anything. So, I reach out to him again, still nothing. I called the staff at the office & asked if any of them would be able to help me but they said Dave was in charge of sales. Dave finally texts me the next day and tells he just sold the truck. I felt that was very disrespectful and very unprofessional of him. I hate to say this but I honestly feel that I was racially profiled by him being that I’m an African American. I had the money to purchase the truck so I didn’t understand why he wasn’t willing to sell the truck to me. I just wanted to conduct business with someone whom I thought was a business man. This is my honest experience with The Truck Source, Inc in Ashland, VA.
