7-Eleven

Sometimes, when I need coffee and I have a time to stop, I get my needed coffee here. Specially, when coffee is offered at a discount.

Stopped here after dropping a friend off at the airport. I went in to get drinks and snacks for us, including my toddler daughter. I also grabbed an empty cup and straw for my toddler since she doesn’t quite know how to drink out of a regular bottle yet.
Cashier rang us up, and the manager stepped in and demanded we pay for the empty cup. We declined and gave back the cup.
The incident left a bad taste in my mouth. They lost 2 stars due to 2 reasons.
1. By demanding we pay for a courtesy cup. This is not how customers should be treated.
2. By staring at us like a deer caught in headlights after we told them we couldn’t understand them because we were deaf and to please repeat themselves. Note: If a deaf person can’t understand you, for pete’s sake PLEASE write down what you want to say on a piece of paper. Staring won’t make us magically understand you.

Stopped here after coming from Cancun Cantina just to pick up a snack. Atlhough it was well after midnight the staff was very pleasant and store very clean.
