Burlington Coat Factory

I frequent this Burlington because it’s in my area and I love to bargain shop. Let me start with the positive, I usually end up with a good find from this store. Today, I found a gorgeous floral skirt… happy Mother’s Day to me! They had a variety of lovely skirts and purses. I resisted the temptation on the purses, a lot of Steve Madden, Anne Klein and purses in great spring colors. It’s Saturday afternoon and I can tell the staff is doing their job of putting things back on the appropriate rack. Shout out to the retail workers, they rarely get appreciated. Now, let me get to what’ s needed at this Burlington… a renovation and a good cleaning. Someone else said that its not a dump, oh I beg to differ. the store facility is in terrible condition. In case you didn’t know, don’t ever shop at this Burlington during a rainstorm. They always have multiple leaks coming from the ceiling. I’m talking about it is the norm for them to have buckets of water everywhere. It has been this way for years. Today it wasn’t raining, however I could smell the damp must in the air. The carpets are disgusting. It has been this way for years and there is no way corporate doesn’t know the condition of this store.

I don’t really care for this particular location. It seems more catered to men than women. Lots of nice men’s clothes! Many things are picked over. It’s junky, messy and since when did BCF’S prices increase and get so Damn high??? This was BS. I won’t come back here for women’s clothes, maybe other items. Ugh!

Lines are usually very long here. If you shop during work hours is always the best time. It’s just a regular department store… nothing too exciting. I don’t shop here myself butt here with a fsmily friend from out of town. Seems like one one works here, it’s hard to get help unless you go to the front desk to request help. I was expecting great things from this store and was sadly disappointed. The staff are rather offhand

This place is a normal burlington for clothes and home goods. But for the baby dept, horrible. Nothing organized, nothing on shelves. Disaster. Looks more like a scratch and dent than anything else.

The previous reviews make this place out to be a complete dump — it wasn’t a COMPLETE dump. The selection wasn’t the best (i assume these stores stock clothes that fit the customers in the area). I don’t think everything is up to date with the ‘current styles’ but there is some formal wear that is passable. — I found a coat here that turned out to be a steal. Like with any of these stores, you have to sort through a bunch on the rack before you find one that you like.

This was kind of like walking into the home of a gangster… lots of kiddies… lots of clothing and shoes… ugly surroundings. stinky… and I didn’t want to touch anything. I take that back, a drug dealer would probably at least have the money from welfare to buy nicer items than what this place carried.
Now I’ve never been to a BCF before but they don’t carry coats and there’s nothing in here that would reminded me of a factory. I honestly think their merchandise is donated from goodwill and then slapped with a random sticker. How these places continue to generate business is beyond my comprehension. If you’re reading this and think I’m a snob, thank you. I’d much rather sound like an elitist than give this place a solid rating of any kind. This has got to be one of the ugliest stores I’ve ever walked through… the people are gross, its dirty, they carry nothing but second hand junk no one else wants. How they occupy a space this large boggles the mind. yuck

I keep forgetting how huge these stores are! I found what I needed and the store was well maintained (not tornado ravaged). Only customer service I dealt with was at the register. It was a little backed up but they called more workers to the front and open more registers.
