Soooooo happy we found Bonita! My 4 year old son with autism has a hard time with haircuts. I’ve tried the infamous«mommy cut» at home and after giving him an unfortunate«stripe», I knew I had to find someone GOOD. Not only did they have to be good, but they had to be extra patient. I found ALL of this in Ms. Bonita. I can not thank you enough for being so amazing with my son. Of all the struggles we encounter on a daily basis, I can FINALLY have peace of mind in one are that has been a big source of anxiety for our entire house. Thank you, thank you, THANKYOU!!! Your buddy Drew

My 3 year old son loves it here. The stylist are friendly, not overly fake friendly(I can’t stand that). He can be a handful, so I’m surprised every time at how still he sits for these ladies to get his hair cut. I have a really hard time getting him to sit still to do his hair every morning. I think its a combination of the TV right in font of him, and the fact that there are not a lot of other distractions right by him. It doesn’t feel crowded like Snip-its in Crofton. The reason I don’t give this place 5 stars is because of the cleanliness. Hair was left on the floor from the previous kid last time we went. And the toys they have in the waiting area look pretty dirty. Please put the stuff animals in the washer, or visit a consignment sale to get«like new» second hand toys.

Had a good experience here. My son is 2 ½ and it was my first time taking him to a salon for a haircut, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I believe the woman who cut his hair was named Terry. She was very nice, patient and did a great job considering he cried for much of the haircut. I went on a holiday(Presidents Day) and it was a steady stream of people, but not overwhelming. I think we waited about 10 minutes before being seen and there were 3 boys in front of us. I didn’t understand why there was only 1 stylist working there and am not sure if that is the norm all the time. Considering that, I was pleasantly surprised that we weren’t there longer than we were. We don’t live right around the corner(live in Baltimore City) so I was hesitant to go to one of these places, not knowing how long I’d have to wait. Would have given this more stars, but again, seems like they should have more than 1 stylist working there. At the very least, they should have someone else working there to sweep up the hair on the floor between cuts. The parents stand there with the kids while they are in the chair, which means you are standing on lots of hair on the floor. A little unpleasant in that regard.

Cartoon cuts is an ok company with an uh-mazing concept. It’s impossible for my little one to sit still during a hair cut. They put on a tv, have tons of toys and candy and sit still during the hair cutting(at least hopefully they sit still). I do have some issues with this place though. The quality of stylists working here is poor. By far, my favorite person to cut my kids hair is Bonita. She is patient, friendly and she makes his hair look great. The other stylists working here(including the manager) look like people I wouldn’t want any kind of services from. Twice Bonita wasn’t there and I decided to have my sons hair cut anyways because there was an event coming up and i regretted it. The manager is rude, trashy and bad at her job. I called because she did such a horrible job and wanted someone to fix it but honestly I wouldn’t want anyone else to fix it besides bonita, and i think she should be compensated, not have to do it for free. I never went in to have them fix it. It is also not the cleanest place. They need to work on customer service and cleanliness and this would be a booming business. 5 stars for Bonita and the concept, 2 stars to the rest of the staff.
