I always come in from time to time to buy lottery tickets. They seem to have a huge selection of beer and various types of alcoholic beverages!

My roommates and I came here after they were technically closed. They were so sweet and let us grab our items and check out anyway. I really appreciated that.

This place is pretty gross. Located in a strip mall, with windows that you can’t see in to because they are covered with advertisements for beer, cheap wine and lottery tickets. It has this weird odor — kind of industrial machinery, mixed with a flat beer smell and cigarettes.
There are several long banquet tables set up that people sit at and work on their lottery scratchers and watch TV. I think they may have been gambling on the horse races on the TV, but wasn’t sure, and didn’t want to ask any of the sketchy characters that were sitting around eating eating chips and playing dominos.
It took me quite a while to find a bottle of wine suitable to bring to a dinner party. CL has a ton of alcohol, but mostly the super cheap high alchohol fruity stuff like moscato. A big display of Boone’s Farm wines were also on display — make me nostaglic for my teens.
I finally found something, paid for it and got the hell out of there.
There are much better places to go!
