I have been seen by Dr. Rastogi before. He has always been a bit gruff but today I was made to feel like a piece of crap. My visit with him today was rather a joy! Today I went to see him and had no choice because he was the only Dr. available I could see. The first thing he does is show me a copy of my insurance card and tells me that I can only see Dr. Izzi because that is the name stated on my insurance card. However my insurance allows me to see any dr. in that building and I checked with my insurance provider to make sure of this. I have had this insurance for 12 years so I think I would know. Plus the fact that my visits with other dr’s were covered in the past. His response,“Whatever”.So then he does give me a check up and tells me everything is fine. He asks me questions and when I answered he cut me off and made me feel like I was wasting his time. He dismissed me like I was some peasant. Wow!, really?! My time was wasted and not only that but I was made to feel like I did not matter. So not only am I wrong but so is my insurance provider? Talk about being cold and disconnected. Well Dr. Rastogi will never have the pleasure to be graced by my presence ever again. Just be warned that if you ever go to see a doctor at Arundel Medical group, try to see anyone but him unless you are desperate. Or don’t mind being treated like garbage. This kind of patient treatment is unacceptable. Never again! Also he never gave me any advice to make my injury better but I guess he figured I should figure that on my own. The Advil and bengay is helping but the sport wrap is relieving a lot of pressure even though I was told I did not need one. But what do I know, right?

I wish I had read these reviews prior to visiting Dr. Rastogi. I have never had such a poor experience with a doctor. I just moved and was searching for a doctor with later hours and possible weekend hours and found him. My initial visit I expected to have a full physical and history. I only filled out paperwork for my medical history. The doctor did not look at me nor did he introduce himself he just asked why I was there. I told him and he said do you need prescriptions? I said no and told him that I thought he would order blood work. He says oh ok. He asks what else do you want from me and I said I guess thats it. Four days after having the labs come back he called me identified himself and told me my sugar was too high and hung up the phone. Yes! Hung up! I went in to see him and he prescribed a medication which would interact with other meds I am taking. I had to do the research to find which one would work for me. My 3rd appointment with him was after a car accident. My head was pounding along with my neck and shoulders. He turned my head slightly to the left slightly to the right and said its no big deal do you want something for pain? I said no I want to know whats going on! He just said it will go away do you want meds? Really??? How is a doctor like this able to practice? I hope someone of authority reads theses reviews and does some research. He is awful!

Dr rastogi is not a very good doctor. He doesn’t give you a full evaluation nor does he answer or hear all your questions or concerns. He is a nice man but he is far past his prime. Ive spoke to many of his patients who say they only go to him when they already know what they have and purely need a script. If they are truly sick they go to someone else who knows what they’re doing.
