Toys R Us

I usually don’t rate most types of stores, but must make an exception in this instance. Came here during the pre-​Christmas rush to get toys for great nephews and great nieces, as well as my gal’s nephew. Both times there were NO carts in the cart storage area. On my first visit I remarked about it in a very nice manner to a pair of staff who were organizing shelf displays, and all they did was say «well the carts would be there or the parking lot.» WRONG ANSWER! Right answer: «Thanks for letting us know We’ll have someone gather carts from the lot:»
On my second visit, to exchange a gift, there were again no carts and more disinterest from the staff when someone else asked nicely about them. The exchange process was quick and painless, but while there the employee remarked about a woman running out of the door carrying an armful of stolen merchandise. She pretty much shrugged it off, then a minute or two later shouted over to the largely inattentive security guy, «_​_​_​_​_​, did you see that?!» But he was busy talking with a pal, so nothing was done. Oh yeah, and during one of the visits the cashier I had was busy talking with a fellow employee, even going so far as to remark on her own about how rude they were both being!
I can only hope that most of the disinterested staffers were seasonal employees, or simply suffered temporary cases of Christmas-​induced don’tgiveadarnia!

Great Toys r Us in this area! The place is never packed so it makes it a pleasant shopping experience. Very well stocked store and usually has the items I plan to purchase. Only one time they did have a specific items I was looking for which was a baby doll high chair. Staff is nice.

What can I say. This store rocks especially holiday time they seem to always have the toys other stores don’t. The layaway plan is dynamite and if you got your layaway off early they gave you e gift cards which I returned and used and paid nearly nothing for some great stocking stuffers.

This is the best Toys r us! First of all, it’s empty most of the time so you don’t have to play bumper cars with the shopping carts and you don’t have too many crazy kids screaming for toys they want. I love being able to browse the aisles for toys.
It’s a large store with lots of selection and if you become a rewards member you will get additional coupons and savings.
The only problem with it being so empty is that they don’t have many clerks.
