Lowe’s

Great store always nice employees. We use this store to buy all of large wood for outdoor signage projects. Thanks

Initially I had a horrible experience with this store, but lame employees ruin everything.
Then we met Bruce, Bruce was not only helpful, but an absolutely fantastic employee. He walked around and guided us the entire time we were there. He’s definitely a gem in the world of big box hardware stores.

Not very Friendly clerks. Put all the small mom and pop hardware stores out of biz. I won’t shop here because they don’t want customers who conceal carry in their store. I would rather pay a little more and shop at a small family owned company than to shop at lowes

While Home Depot is a little more convenient for me and their customer service is better, this Lowes is a full-​size facility with more choices.
Personally, I have experienced no service issues at Lowes and I have always found the items I need. The store is stocked, organized and well maintained (but the exterior blue is fading). I do suggest comparing prices before purchasing at either Lowes or Home Depot.

We bought cork (easy to install snap) flooring and installation at Lowes. Lowe’s contracted out their labor to Burton and Burton contracted out the labor to a smaller contractor. The smaller contractor came on Friday, July 11^th but said our 10×14 room was uneven and had to go home and get shimmies. The next day the contractor came back and spent 11 hours on this little room and by the end, the floors were more uneven than before, snapping and popping when it was walked upon. Burton sent someone else out 1 week later to fix the floors but this person just «assessed» the situation and said that yes, the floor was put in incorrectly. Another person came a week later to fix the floors but simply assessed the situation a second time. After calling many times to Lowes, we had a third visit a week later. Turns out the first small contractor had not fixed the uneven floors with shimmies. He instead shoddily lay a sheet of plywood down that had carpet remnants underneath it (causing the floors to be even more uneven). He then stapled the recently laid cork flooring, hoping to make the floors seem even (we suppose). Once the third contractor received the correct supplies, the floors were fixed in two hours.

The slogan on the Lowe’s website says: «Never stop improving.» Lowes, I hope you take your own advice!

Answer: D. (A-​C are actually expenses.)
So …I’m guessing Lowes hasn’t figured this one out yet — perhaps that is why there was only 1 cash register open on a recent visit with plenty of customers eager to give someone, anyone, their money!

It’s a Lowe’s, they have hardware, fixtures, etc. I’m reviewing this particular Lowe’s because I’ve had some weird customer service experiences here. The last one was a doozy, with my mom having to get a manager to complain about one of the employees. I can’t repeat some of the things my senior citizen mom said about this employee, but none of it was good. The other employees are helpful and knowledgeable, so as long as you avoid the rude employee here, you should have a fine experience at this store.

20 minute pick-​up order online:
First time ordering online. I placed an order for 15 bags of mulch and 10 of top soil. Getting ready to go pick up.
Only downfall of ordering online is they don’t tell you where to go when you get there. If you do this more often this wouldn’t be an issue.
Associate helped me load my order.

I like this Lowe’s more and more. It’s one of the few stores where my shopping experience is both bricks-​and-​mortar AND web-​based, rather than either-​or. This week, I shopped for and purchased a new dishwasher, first visiting the store to view, then using the helpful «compare» feature on the website, then back to the store for final viewing, questions answered and tips given by a sales associate, then purchase finalized. I’ll get free delivery, and the entire experience still is less expensive than I’d pay at Amazon.

Lowe’s is a great home improvement store. I agree with John that it is a good idea to compare prices with the neighboring Home Depot. The staff has always been helpful and willing to help me find what I need.
