Needed a cake for graduation. Ordered it by phone, never tried the bakery. Kevin was very helpful. Ordered a half sheet double layer, with chocolate mousse filling and whipped cream topping. Kevin even said he’d look online for a college logo. Result? TOTALLYAWESOME! The cake almost floated it was so light, the cake was delicious. The whipped cream was just perfect, not too sweet. The college logo could not have been better. All my guests raved. I’ve since then bragged bout Landing Bakery to everyone. They are now permanently in my contacts list.

The best rolls in NY, possibly the world. Great Danish. Super birthday cakes. Outrageous rye bread. Now serving breakfast featuring organic eggs etc! Cannot get any better than this!

There is always a line, but it is worth the wait. The banana pudding is excellent! The cookies and cupcakes are OK, but the banana pudding is where it is at! Get it!

Dead smack in the middle of a residential neighborhood, blocks from the beach is this cute spot. Breakfast sandwiches are awesome, bakery goods and breads are on point as well. Try it and you’ll crave it again, promised

This is our little local secret, delicious pastry and fresh bread, great service, they are nice people, I remember once was there picking up a cake with my child and they offered him a cookie, what a nice gesture! he never forgets that and every time we pass by on our way to Morgan’s Park he pulls me inside for more treats! You won a customer forever! If you ever visit beautiful Morgan’s Park and beach, stop by, you won’t regret it!

Quite frankly, this amazing establishment is part of a rapidly shrinking slice of vintage Americana. It is as local as local gets, and it produces the same delicious treats that it has been serving up for a very long time. If you find yourself in the greatest city of them all(Glen Cove), get over to Landing Bakery, and see for yourself. There are far too many items to recommend, and I have never been disappointed. There is a reason why they have been around for so long, and there is a reason why their customers are so loyal —- it is because everything tastes great!

Cute little bakery in glencove, a bench outside to enjoy your coffee or a table with four chairs to enjoy coffee and breakfast . Good variety of crumb cakes, peach, plain, apple and more that I don’t remember, apple Danish, apple turnover, iced French crullers, sugared twisted donuts and alot of really unique cookies, pies, lintzer tarts(did I spell that right ?) Coffee is serve yourself bar, nothing fancy, don’t expect a Starbucks ! If you are like me and like cream and not milk I didn’t see any cream on the counter, they only had milk out, personally I don’t care cause dunkin donuts and Starbucks is 3 mins away . We ordered an italian bread, I am a total bread fanatic it’s my weakness I will try a plain italian bread in any nice bakery and this one was SCRUMPTIOUS, we bought it in the morning and it’s 3 pm and already gone, wish we bought 2 ! The apple turnover was very good as well, very unique crust, and not overbearingly sweet like alot of bakeries and tons of icing, yummy ! Also ordered a plain crumb cake that was very delightful and my daughter had some cookies that looked really good and I’m sure was delicious since she finished them all ! Very fresh baked goods and very friendly service, can’t wait to go back and try more!

If you read my review of Swan Bakery you will understand that Landing is everything that swan is not. Except a hole in the wall. Even after a recent renovation Landing still succeeds at being a hole in the wall. So be it. I prefer the pastries emanating from this hole in the wall than from any other. Recently got a buddy that was not familiar with this place to go grab some treats for me and he was perplexed by the location and nature of the operation. The bakery is located in a residential nabe, no other stores around at all, and appears to be run from a basement no less. Cheese Danish are great, always moist and perfectly cheesed up. Turnovers fresh and lack the assembly line horror show sweetness of the typical crap paraded as a turnover these days. Around Easter they make frog cupcake things that I would kill puppies for. Classic bakery. Can’t go wrong.

Landing Bakery is a classic. They make delicious cakes– just last night I had their spice cake with cannoli filling– fantastic. They are reasonably priced and it’s easy to find a parking spot on the street right in front.
