Great ambiance, lovely tasting room, and super friendly and knowledgeable pouters. We found Korbin Kameron a few years ago and we’ve recommended it to friends and family visiting Sonoma County. Located in the quaint town of Glen Ellen, it’s a must stop on the wine tasting route. I love that it is family owned and some of the wines are named after the kids. One of my favorite here is the Rose. It’s an easy wine to drink on a warm day, not too minerally and has a smooth finish. Place to visit when you are in Glen Ellen.

My third time in Sonoma Valley touring various smaller vineyards in as many months, I started to feel underwhelmed by what was being delivered in tasting rooms. Trying ‘gold medal winner’ after ‘gold medal winner’ I felt as if it was beyond taste fatigue, but that I was actually falling out of love with wine. I was tired of tasting room reps reading the notes and having no connection to the wine themselves, and there seeming to be way too many gimmicks in play. As a last stop for the day, we found Korbin Kameron almost by accident, and from the very start it turned out to be a reinvigorating experience. Not only was the wine incredible, but the rep Holly was beyond knowledgeable on the story of the wine and had her own opinion of each glass. We went through the full tasting, and by the 3rd glass my whole party commented that we were all taking more time with each glass, savoring each drop as long as we could. By this point, we knew this would be a club we would be signing up for and enjoying. After so many disappointing stops not even worth remembering, Korbin Kameron has not been ingrained into my memory, but truly made me fall back in love with wine again. Notes: Tasting fees are waved with purchase, and the bottles are beyond exceptional for the price. And while Vicki mentions a tip is assumed, one should note if service is good, a tip is welcome, but never ‘encouraged’ by staff.

Nice tasting room host and atmosphere. Enjoyed the Sauv Blanc. Would have preferred the option to have tasting fee waived if bottles were purchased — plus it was assumed when signing for purchasing that a tip would be left on top of purchase. Those factors combined are not the norm in wine country.

It was around closing time when Mitchell invited us in to taste some of his wines. Not only was he a pleasure to speak with, but his wines are incredible! Great overall experience.

Not the least expensive wines in the area, but you do get what you pay for! The cabs they pour are super!!! The Petite Verdot is wonderful! $ 20 tasting fee is waived with a purchase. The pours are very generous especially considering the quality of the wines. … and the best for last… The puppy that«guards» the tasting room is adorable!

Nice little tasting room in Glen Ellen. Their décor screams Restoration Hardware. I enjoyed the tasting of 4 wines that they offered that day. (2009 Merlot, 2008 Cab Sauv, 2009 Estate Blend Cuvee Kristin, Petit Verdot 2011) which I think they charged $ 20. I’m no wine connoisseur but I did enjoy the Cuvee & the Merlot.

This is a cute, little place in the middle of Glen Ellen. The wine is great, and the Rose was my favorite(best Rose I’ve ever had). The owners are extremely nice and friendly, and obviously love what they do, which is palpable when you visit here.

Ummm, yes. This place specializes in deep, robust red wines, so if you’re all about white wines, this is a great place to branch out into reds. Personally, I am more of a white wine person, as I find reds to be kind of heavy for my taste. I recently did a tasting here, and I was blown away. I really enjoyed all their wine, and finished every last drop. They seem to balance bold with mellow, if that makes sense. I’ve never found a Cabernet that I REALLY enjoyed before trying theirs. It was really smooth, not dry, and just really wonderful. I liked it so much that I bought a bottle for myself :) They also have an amazing rose. What I also liked about this tasting room was that it was simple, the service was relaxed, and the owner was there, who made a recommendation for another tasting room up the street. I thought that was very classy of him to support other businesses. Check this place out!
