I have always enjoyed deep dish pizza and I’ve been going to Giordanos ever since I was a kid. This is the first time, I’ve been to the Glen Ellyn location. The servers did a great job and the food was phenomenal. My only complaint is one particular individual that works there. He may or may not be a manager, he did seem like the manager because he was overlooking the kids working at the counter. He is tall and bald. I did make a reservation and when my fiancé and I came it was somewhat busy. He told us it would be an hour wait, and we figured maybe it won’t take as long as he says it will. Fifteen minutes goes by and he’s seating people that don’t even have reservations?! I said something to him, and he just walked away from us. One of the phone kids just went ahead and seated us. We finally sat down and the server came to us very quickly. We were having a good time and we were starting to forget about what had happened. Then the bald guy came back and he stared at our table and then he was speaking to the phone kids while pointing at us. I heard him say«they had to wait for a table, you weren’t supposed to seat them.» What kind of service is that? I will never come back to this location ever again. The only way I will come back, is if that manager goes away!

Manager remembered me months later. As promised, he kept my info on his desk. When I called he placed my order and comped it for me. The pizza was excellent as always! Definitely made up for the prior issues! Thanks!

First of all I didn’t know the hours changed & closed at 10 I thought 11 I call at 9 for a delivery and from the start the worker«peki» he said his name was he was so beyond rude. He first hung up on me and I called back and just had so much attitude with me. He was yelling at me and I told him you know what forget it cancel the order. I’m a server and it felt like I was the one dealing with the customer. I would never talk to a customer like that he is so beyond rude and yet he’s the manager! He deserves to be fired. I hope he doesn’t do that to other people because that’s so beyond rude and sad…

Excellent gluten free pizza. VERY thin, but still had a lot of flavor. I got the spinach, artichoke, and feta gluten free pizza with the white sauce. Not only did I have a great experience with their food, but their service as well. Ask for Kevin as your waiter because he is friendly, always making sure you’re satisfied, and really funny.

I’m not a deep dish fan, but since some Chicago born & raised pals persuaded me to at least come with them to Giordano’s, I put away my biases and gave it another try. I thought service was great. I should mention we were the only once in the restaurant. Our waitress rocked. Our deep dish pizza was delicious. I got full off appetizers and 1 slice. We got the fried calamari, which was decent.(It’s a pizza place, set your squid standards low .) a full belly later, some leftover pizza followed me home. Still enjoyed it the next day after zapping it in the microwave. Not a bad place. Still loyal to NY Slices over the Chicago Double-D.

If I could I wouldn’t even rate this restaurant… I ate here the other night and the food was great but the people(manger) are terrible. Terrible is understatement for the manger. He was bold and rude and treated his employees horribly. As I sat and ate dinner I watched him. I over heard him call a server«baby» he fixed her shirt, rubber her neck, checked her out every time she would walk by. Just disgusting. How he is a manger and such a creep! He should be fired. He’s rude, yells at employees talks to them like he’s better than everyone just a terrible manger. I would suggest they get a new one. I am going to tell all my friends to NOTGOTHERE because of him!

Yuuuuuummm. Its not often I eat Giordano’s pizza, but every time I eat it, I love it. The pizza is great and everyone should try it at least once when you are in Chicago. The customer service and the food were both great. No issues there. The food was made in 45 mins like they said. I’m sure if you order many toppings it will take time to bake. The pizza is sooo delicious. Hmmm its tough to decide which is better Giordano’s or Lou Malnati’s.

Having ordered the thin crust pizza from other locations many times, I was expecting the same juicy, fresh and delicious pizza. What e received yesterday was a dry, tasteless and almost like a frozen thin crust pizza. This location must be a franchised model, as I have never had such a poor meal at any of their other restaurants.

Delicious as usual. Tried their«Special» thin crust. It’s not that thin. It’s piled high. Which is still good. If you’re looking for«woodfired, crispy thin.» This isn’t it.
