We love Soukup’s. The store is a throwback to a simpler time — they have a great selection of so many items (including cleaning items), the sales people are always friendly and helpful. The store isn’t fancy, shiny, or new, but it’s a family store that does a great job being what it’s supposed to be. When we have visitors to Glen Ellyn, I have to bring them to Soukup’s just for the experience. Love this place.

I’ve lived in Glen Ellyn for over 20+ years. Soukup’s is the best as it comes to customer service and quality of merchandise. Prices are competitive and worth the time to check this store out! Excellent Management and very loyal to their community.

Soukups may not always have everything you need, but the service simply cannot be beat. It has been around forever, and one step in to the store shows why.
I was recently back in Glen Ellyn, where I grew up, helping my mother with some things. This required several trips to a few different hardware stores, and Soukup’s is absolutely the best. There is still a place for Home Depot, where you can get just about anything under the sun. But what you can’t get there is the level of service you get here.
Prices are fair, if not slightly higher. But you are paying for convenience and knowledge, which I am fine with. They have appliances, grills, plus all of your standard hardware store stuff. It’s split over two levels, but I didn’t make it downstairs to see what was there.

This is a great store and within walking distance from where I live. The service is excellent as it seems like a family-​run store, at least that is the kind of service you will receive.

Such a great store. I love to go here, I walk in with my list and someone very knowledgable, usually the owner walks me through the store and picks up everything I need. It’s so nice to get that kind of service these days. I forgot that is what hardware stores used to be like. So nice and so helpful!
