I am a frequent traveler and love to try Indian food everywhere I go. I must say, the Chicken Tikka Masala here was finger lickin’ good, and their naan’s, so thin and crispy — just perfect. Did I mention the Tandoori Wings, whoa, I’ve only had them once before, and I wish every restaurant would make these. Makes me forget Buffalo Wild Wings is even a place.

Delicious! I recommend the tandoori wings(best I’ve ever had!) and the chicken tikka masala was so tasty. The garlic naan is a must have! Great atmosphere and the waiters are so attentive. A hidden gem!

One star because I had no other option. Worst food I had. I ordered Punjabi tikka masala and reshmi kabab, the gravy was very bland, a mixture of tomato purée with some yogurt, I didn’t taste any Indian spices in it, chicken was very dry, kababs were stale and dry, highly over priced for the low quality food they served, they are charging people for the place. They cannot sell me for good ambience, at the end good tasty food is what I wanted. Will never go at this place. Horrible!

Love their take-out! My favorite is the butter chicken. They spice it up to taste(i.e. mild to very spicy). Food is top quality and the staff is always friendly. This restaurant is a hidden treasure! I don’t understand why it’s not completely mobbed at dinner time. I highly recommend it!

Shere e Punjab was a great restaurant to visit for a first time Indian eater. We ordered the chicken tikka, some lamb dishes and the garlic naan which were all delicious. However, the menu was difficult to understand for us and the waiter seemed impatient when helping us. Overall, the service was great with constant refills and checkins from the waiters.

I’d never had genuine Indian food & had been looking for the right opportunity to try it. I was not disappointed! Great taste & generous portion sizes; it was clear that this was the real deal. Clean restaurant with a nice atmosphere. It can be a little hard to find. Just find the the Acme(easy!) and go around to the left side, facing US-1. You can’t miss it.

Food is amazing, 5 stars! The lamb vindaloo is epic, the naan is awesome but you will die of thirst before you get a refill on a drink or waited on in general. I would come here much more often if the staff were even the slightest bit attentive.

We’ve had food here twice(takeout) and it was good. However my review is not based on taste but on principle. I believe businesses should be based in integrity and honesty. This owner is not. The menus CURRENTLY distributed for takeout all have coupons that are dated a year old in small print. When presented with the coupon the owner will highlight this even while acknowledging it is what they are currently advertising. The owner will not honor them, but will deceive you into thinking they are valid. Makes one think if dishonest and does not care about customer relationships, what else should one be wary about??? Buyer beware.

We went there for the first time tonight. The food was excellent, especially the vegetable samosa. We ordered chicken Korma and chicken biryani, both were excellent. One thing I will change next time is to ask for a regular spicy(#2) instead of mild(#1). They offer you to choose between 1 and 5(the higher the spicier).

The takeout was great! The restaurant was very clean and appealing. We had chana masala, chicken tikka masala, raita, and garlic naan. The raitta was very fresh with shredded cucumber mixed in-I wish I would have asked for extra! We asked for medium spicy, and it was spicier in comparison with other Indian restaurants I’ve eaten at. We will definitely come again!

This is my family’s go to spot. This is always the choice for birthday dinners and date nights! Even for some picky eaters, the Chicken Tikka Masala always satisfies. The food is consistant and the staff is warm and welcoming. The atmosphere is modern and clean, yet comforting. I am surprised that there is never a wait for a table. With the quality of food and beautiful atmosphere, there should be a line around the corner. I guess if there were anything to change, it would be the location. It’s a little hidden. They would get more traffic if they were more centrally located. Then again, I do enjoy a quiet evening with my family and friends in this wonderful establishment.

Hands down the best Indian food restaurant in the area, including all the restaurants in Exton. I have tried a number of things, both vegetarian and non vegetarian and am never disappointed. The goat curry is amazing! Great service. I keep coming back.

Nice ambience, good food. Lamb biryani was flavorful and spicy. The chicken kebab came with two chutneys that tasted really good. The best Indian restaurant around this area. It’s a bit pricey, but highly recommended!

Recently checked out this place for dinner with my boyfriend. We both agreed that its the best Indian food we have ever had! We will definitely be returning. I had the Tikka Masala, the chicken was cooked perfectly and the sauce was very good. Usually I’m afraid of the chicken being too dry but it was perfect. We also enjoyed a great and refreshing appetizer the server had recommended so I’m unsure of the name. The ingredients were all very fresh, colorful, and satisfying. we also enjoyed some bread and the mango ice cream. We plan on coming back soon to try more of the menu. The staff is also very friendly and prompt.

Shere-E-Punjab is a very nice Indian restaurant. You can see the cool lit up bar from the outside. My husband found this place on Opentable for our recent date night. The inside was a nice surprise, we’re used to seeing outdated décor and carpet. It was very modern but still felt Indian. I enjoyed the music playing. Our server was older, not very attentive after he sat us down. I normally order curries but did not see it on the menu. I was a little confused about that since curries are the norm at every Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to. I asked him about curry dishes since it was not on the menu and he was kind of rude about it. He said they would be able to make it. We ordered the lamb samosa for an appetizer, which was delicious, especially with the two sauces they gave with it. My husband ordered his favorite dish, Chicken Tikki Masala, the sauce was much lighter than we had anywhere which he liked. I had the lamb curry which was ok. The sauce was not very flavorful and the consistency was light. The garlic naan couldn’t soak up any of the sauce. The rice was good, I enjoyed the peas that was mixed in with it. DONOT order the mango chutney, it was a disappointment! It tasted like it was taken right from a jar. It was really sweet and did not have a sour taste at all since they described it as sweet and sour. I normally get the onion chutney at Maharaja which is fresh onions cut up and pairs up well with curries. So I thought the mango chutney was going to be fresh and light, not thick like a jam. To sum things up, the lamb samosa was delicious but my curry dish was sub par. I probably will not return, however everyone has different taste and should definitely try it. I for one will not return because I love curries and this one didn’t do it for me.

I love Indian buffets! They just really hit the spot when you’re craving restaurant Indian food and the favorites you wouldn’t dare make at home like butter chicken. I always judge an Indian restaurant(unless it’s a top notch place) by the quality of their buffet, because in my opinion, that’s the best reason to visit an Indian restaurant. Sher-e-Punjab has a great buffet, I’m happy to say! They served so many options and my favorites like shahi paneer and chicken makhani. Hot naan, saffron rice, goat meat, saag, channa masala and multiple other options added to that to create a full spectrum of Indian cuisine. Everything tasted delicious! I was definitely pleased, as were my sister and my parents. The interior is nicely decorated and triumphs the standard bold reds and oranges of Indian vibrancy in its accents and lighting. They have a full bar and also make specialty Indian drinks. I tried the sweet lassi, which was good. I like that they sprinkled ground cardamom on top. The booths are very congested. It’s hard to get in and out and space is really tight. I love that they cover the food in the buffet line. Always skeptical of open buffets, so this setup provides refreshing peace of mind. The location is amazing. Sher-e-Punjab is the lone Indian restaurant in the area — the next being Nala, Ruchi, Himalaya and a few others near Exton and Palace of Asia in Delaware. I’d say Sher-e-Punjab has one of the best, if not the best, buffet out of them all. It’s also in one of my fave shopping centers that include a Target, DSW, and Marshall’s Home Goods, three winners for me. Def check this place out!

Friendly, clean and attractive strip mall Indian restaurant. It’s a little hard to find as you wind your way around a huge mall but the perseverance paid off with a very good lunch buffet. I’m not a huge fan of fried balls of vegetables in cream(kofta) as a nutritional lunch but they did have a decent cabbage dish and a nicely prepared bottle gourd. The spicing was just about perfect. It wasn’t blow the top off your head off which I really appreciated. The veg cutlets with channa were great and the samosas were good. It doesn’t look like they have a tandoor so I passed on the chicken but they did have a couple very good chicken curries. They bring fresh naan which I am not eating but did try a bite and it was good. Nicely buttery.
