The review is for the pharmacy not the store. I’d been with this pharmacy for years and they have proven to me once again of how excellent their service is. I was surprised with how much my insurance company was charging me on a medication cream prescribed by my dermatologist. The store notify me about the high price beforehand but sadly was not able to retrieve the message before arriving to the store. As I told them that I cannot afford to pay the price, the intern pharmacist suggested that they’ll contact my doctor and will request for a generic prescription and get back to me of the status. They were able to find a substitute covered by my insurance. The co — pay is very descent too. It took a lot of follow ups as I was told by them before they were able to finalized my transaction. They even gave me a courtesy call and I was welcomed wholeheartedly and with a smile when I stop by at the pick up register. I got a huge savings of more than hundred fifty dollars for what they have done. Their effort surpasses my expectations, an excellent and remarkable customer service. The store has automatic refill service with courtesy call. Supplies are adequate. Drop offs can be pick up within 15 min while you shop or wait. They give a 7 day window before they return to the stock the unpicked medicine., I love all the staff on this pharmacy. Friendly, helpful, efficient and approachable. Will definitely comeback as I am a satisfied and happy customer based on this experience. Highly recommended.

I loved this cvs pharmacy. The staff was so nice and helpful and the service was great. Something must have happened and in the last three months I have had constant issues with the pharmacists and the staff. I have been told my prescriptions were already filled when they had not been — once my doctor even had to call to clarify because they did not believe me. Maybe they have new staff because they are incredibly rude and either incompetent or not interested in their jobs. I have been a loyal cvs customer for many years and will not be using this pharmacy or ever patroning a cvs in the future.

…good lord. Right. Here’s how my life works: I have a document that I need to attach a picture to, notarize, and get into the mail by a certain date. I also work 12 hour night shifts over 70 hours a week(the glorious life of a resident) which means that the *only* day I can get this done is when I don’t have to go to work the previous evening, meaning I’ll actually be awake during the next day during business hours. The day this document needs to be postmarked by. No matter! I’ll send it to CVS photo that morning, go to the DMV, and then pick up the photo and get this thing done with. Perfect, right? Enter this mess of a place. I walk in 3 hours after the one hour window guarantee or whatever it is, a little after 3, and the guy at the counter can’t find my picture. I haven’t received any email notifications saying there’s an issue with my order. I figure maybe it didn’t actually print yet(it’s happened before at another CVS) but it’s just one picture, so he should just be able to hit print. Nope. He has no idea how to operate the machine, the photo tech isn’t there, and the roll needs to be replaced. When will the tech get there? 4, maybe 4:30? I ask why a) there isn’t a tech there during the day and b) why I didn’t receive an email update if the picture couldn’t print, and the cashier literally throws his hands up in the air and says that he wasn’t there when the order was placed. Cue completely losing it as I realize just how much the ineptitude of this place is screwing me over, and I don’t have a digital copy of the picture on my phone to restart this whole process at a different CVS, nor the time to before the post office closes. Actual tears, people. I sat on the floor in front of the counter and just started crying, and the manager and two cashiers essentially pretended I wasn’t there, didn’t make any eye contact, and didn’t try to do a DAMNTHING to help me out. When the photo tech got there, he was the only one who got down to my level to ask me what was going on, except that the machine had broken mid-order so he would have to finish printing this huge order before he got to my one measly picture. And then he, too, quickly started pretending I didn’t exist. Spoiler alert: I didn’t make it to the post office in time. Completely screwed. Granted it was only one picture, but the manager didn’t even offer to comp me the amount I had prepaid on the website in an effort to make this as efficient as possible(HAHAHA) — absurd, on principle, not because I would miss 32 cents. Not a single apology, not a single effort to understand why a customer was literally in tears sitting on the floor. I’m done with CVS. Some of the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered, and there are plenty of other options out there.

The signs alone are worth the trip to this CVS on the corner of Hillside &LNP. One reads«Police Take Notice», another boasts the formidable«food shoppe» honor this particular branch has garnered(the selection was fairly admirable, far as these things go) or self-assigned, and the other can be peeped via the photo I was fortunate enough to snap. If you’re as lucky as I was, you’ll discover off-duty cabbies blasting synchronized M.I.A. tracks in the snug rear parking lot, one that seems to suffer a Hitchcock-worthy pandemic. Quite simply, this is Americana captured in a chain drugstore-turned-cultural mecca.
