Updated review: Upon return to JCP Sephora, I had yet another return from a freestanding Sephora and I saw the dreadlocked girl(who I found out name is China — see previous review), and immediately began to get irritated until I saw Angelica and breathed a sigh of relief. I explained to Angelica that I had 2 returns, 1 from Sephora JCP and 1 from freestanding Sephora(both had receipts). She did the entire process without any problems and her customer service this time was very refreshing and took the stress off of me upon entry(because I hated coming here seeing that this was a problem store to shop and/or return to(if necessary). She even let me use a 10% VIB off coupon(which may have been expired) and apologized for the inconvenience/miscommunication during my last visit. She also assured me that her other«girls» at the counter have been trained to use the same procedure as she does for the freestanding Sephora to Sephora inside JCP returns so they won’t flag your ID as a frequent returner without a receipt and ban you. I am confident now that if I do return and Angelica is not there, that someone else will be able to handle it with the utmost professionalism and efficiency. However, every time I do come back I secretly hope that Angelica is working!

@Sephora at the Woodmore location inside of the @jcpenney — folks it’s bad service here don’t come to this location if you have questions about the products because the staff is more concerned with doing their own make up then helping you do yours… this is the 2nd time this has happened to me inside of a JCPenny EXCEPT for the one in @annapolismall — this REALLYSUCKS!!!

This has got to be one of the nicest, newest, most organized JCPenney’s I’ve every been to. Of course it also benefits from being a new-built store, not a bad renovation of an 80s space. Staff were very friendly and the selection was pretty good. Unfortunately JCPenney has dropped a lot of the nicer products that they started carrying a few years ago, especially in the home wares department, but as I understand it, it was because sales were so slow on the nicer products.

I was disappointed because I went there with the hopes of purchasing my almost 1.5 son some Converse Chuck Taylor Classics since they are advertised online. They failed to have any size 6 ’ s for him(infant sizes) & when I asked if they had any the black woman(hazel contacts, about 5’5″, dark skin, with a short peach fuzz cut) that looked like the Manager of the shoe department seemed to not be sure but kinda thought that was all but was so lazy she never looked up their inventory stock or searched the back.

This is a newer built store. It is also set up as a boutique opposed to your typical department store. The portrait studio & sephora inside is such a plus. The staff is typical
