Great toy store. Really is amazing with the selection and variety. Something for everyone. Cannot be beat for that special unique gift.

Will not shop anywhere else for toys or gifts! My daughter bought a couple of items from the store this week. She gave the salesperson a 50 dollar bill and was shorted $ 30.00. When I called an hour later, the store owner was so apologetic, nice and willing to go above and beyond… I seriously considered telling her to keep the $ 30.00! THAT’S how customers should be treated! Everyone makes mistakes. Even though she didn’t wait on my daughter, she owned it. She has my business!

What a great fun store! Gretchen was very helpful in picking out some perfect presents. I gave her the age, sex and price range and she gave me some great options. She also wrapped the presents beautifully. My nieces and my children were very happy with their unique toys. I will definitely be back!!!

Gretchen Miller is a breath of fresh air with her new Toy Store in Glencoe, Illinois. The selection of toys, candy and gifts reflect her personality and show she has her mindset on the pulse of the area. My grandchildren were awed and excited and I was so happy to have a place to go when I needed a birthday gift or just something to bring them just because. It is a pleasure to shop and have questions answered and best of all to just relax and have someone else wrap with beautiful papers and ribbons.

My pre-schoolers decided this was going to be their favorite store in Glencoe long before they opened their doors last weekend. I recently checked it out(without the kiddos in tow) and my first thought was«I’m in trouble!» The fact that they carry calico critters and shopkins alone will be enough for my(almost) 5 year old to insist we stop here every single time we’re in downtown Glencoe, which happens to be quite often. While the store itself is small it’s packed with lots of toys, crafts, stuffed animals etc to satisfy all«The Wild Child(ren)» in your life. A great spot for buying bday gifts too! The owner is no stranger to toy stores since she used to manage Leoleno(RIP) in Winnetka, but personally I like the selection of The Wild Child much better. She mentioned she’s trying to carry toys that you can’t find in every North Shore toy store. Unfortunately, for my train obsessed 2-year-old this means no Thomas the Train toys, but there’s plenty of other things in here that would catch his eye. Their prices don’t seem to be much more than you’d find on amazon AND(IMO) it’s always more fun to shop local!
