Not only do I do most of my shopping here, you just never know who you might might randomly meet. I just want to put a huge Thank you to a very nice customer Eric, who did such a great act of kindness! After running a debit card I rarely use, couldn’t remember my PIN number, Eric paid for my groceries. I really thought there was a hidden camera or something, acts of kindness need to be recognized, and now I’m going to pay it forward also, he made my day, my weekend Thank you kind Eric

This is my usual ALDI location. The only reason it doesn’t get a perfect review is that the parking lot isn’t well lit and can be crowded. That said, 80 percent of my groceries come from here. Bring a debit card or cash, your own shopping bags and a quarter for a cart(you get it back at the end). If you’re a healthier eater, you’ll be surprised at the great variety of better for you option. They have eggs, almond milk, oatmeal, Kashi knock off cereal, a great selection of seasonal produce, bags of individually frozen chicken and tilapia and all sorts of specialty cheeses. Everything is cheaper than Wal-Mart and I find the produce to be a better quality than WalMart as well. The bananas alone taste loads better from ALDI.

I love that I save on produce. They have a lovely fresh foods section that’s hard to beat. I’m able to grab a bundle of peppers, onions, potatoes and tomatoes for a fraction of the cost compared to SuperTarget or Jewel. I’m less impressed with the meats. They are somewhat cheaper than other places; however, they only offer chicken breasts in 4-packs and I really wish they’d carry larger family sizes. I did the math and it didn’t seem to be cheaper if I bought two packs to achieve the same amount. We did find that if we buy the large back of frozen breasts that it was incredibly cheaper but it shows in the lesser quality cuts. Their cereal and boxed goods section is pretty awesome. I was able to make a dozen muffins for a 99c. All I had to do was add water and an egg. That served for breakfast for a couple of days. The cereal was also pretty good but a bit more sugary than its non-generic counterpart. I’m finding that often times your option is to save money or to get delicious items. It’s not something you can always have together. I can’t hate too much, though. My grocery bill has gone down and I appreciate that.
