I wish I could leave less than 1 star… Price my wife was charged for tool rental was much more than I was quoted… They also charged her for damage protection (10% upcharge).without ever asking her if she wanted the damage protection… On top of that they dinged us $ 40 extra for an additional 3hrs and 46 minutes… when a full day cost is $ 64.plus I’ve been on hold for a half hour waiting for a Manager to come to the phone. Yikes!

Not at all female-​friendly…
I went to buy an ejector pit pump diaphragm switch and went to see the associate in the Plumbing Department. He rudely told me not to expect him to know everything and asked me whether Daddy sent me. Home Depot did not have the part I needed after all. I went to Ferguson Plumbing, who knew exactly what I needed. The associate advised me to tell the plumber that I already had the part, so that they might not even charge me their usual service fee.
I give Home Depot two stars instead of one because I went back to get a quote for materials to remodel my deck myself. I provided the parts list and he spent over an hour putting together the estimate for me. Then, he waived the delivery fee like he would for a contractor because of the total cost of the materials.

Review on their truck rental only. The guys are very great and will quote you on the Home Depot trucks and Penske trucks so you get the cheapest deal possible. They are patient if you have a lot of questions and will start the 75 minute time when you drive off the lot instead of as soon as you get your receipt.
They also have free ‘rope ties’ outside the door. They aren’t very thick, so we got a whole bunch and double tied everything down.

I came in here looking for plumbing supplies and various odds and ends for a tiling job. The manager here was perhaps the most friendly and accommodating sales person I’ve ever met. He helped me locate the right pieces, explained the difference between materials, showed me how to cut it and even smeared some adhesive on so I didn’t have to buy that part. And you can beat the 10 percent discount for military veterans every day.

I’m no Bob the Builder but I love stopping in my local Home Depot. Everyone here is pleasant and helpful. They are commercial ready friendly. Almost too good to be true but service is the same each and every visit.
I am always met with a smile, hello and can I help you find anything. Needless to say, I always seem to require assistance locating an item because I do not shop here with enough frequency to know my way around.
To top it off, I do not recall ever being told an item is out of stock. All the more reason to shop there.

The guys that work in plumbing are very knowledgeable! If you’re in trouble, these guys come to the rescue in helping solve it. The other 2 big stores have teenagers that only know how to check stock!

Customer service is NON-​EXISTANT. Ugh. Instead of greeting me, Frankie the cashier and other worker in the Garden Center ignored me while they discussed their siblings and some guy the other girl was dating. Having worked retail for over 12 years, I find it really rude when employees can’t stop their personal conversations to at least greet their customers. Also annoying when I say «Thanks» at the end of the transaction only to hear «You’re welcome.» I’m welcome for what?! Girl, you didn’t do a darn thing!

The worst Home Depot I have ever been to. Purchased several appliances from there and no one could answer a question or knew anything about any of the products. Very unhappy with their service.

I finally went here instead of the Menards, which was a little closer. The difference was night & day. Menards employees never knew answers to our questions, and it was obvious that they never wanted to help.
When I went to Home Depot, I got three people asking if I needed anything in the first 10 minutes. When I needed help getting a reel lawn mower down to test it out, they gladly pulled up a ladder and were happy to help. On top of that, they of course have all the supplies we need.
I give a 4⁄5 instead of a 5⁄5 because we hired Home Depot to install new windows and the group that came out to do it did a really sloppy and inconsistent caulking job. They were good about fixing it though and we were happy besides that.

However, why do I always hear a phone ringing over the intercom when I’m here? Someone, for the love of everything holy, pick up that phone!

This location might be the worst in the chain. Every time I go for something simpler it turns into something difficult. For example, go for a shade and no one in the store knows how to cut it. They tell me to come back after 4 pm — this is at noon.
Lowes to me is always much better for ease and customer service.
