This is your typical site. It’s clean. I like that Dasani water hours on sale every other week. They have red box, which is easy for me cuz I work right down the street

Pharmacy review:
These guys work HARD.
The pharmacist is constantly moving, calling other locations, locating meds elsewhere, explaining things. all with a chill demeanor. I’ve talked with him several times, and each time he’s been quick and thorough. The pharmacy techs work just as hard.
I know I’d lose my ish if I had to deal with some of their clients, and these guys do a phenomenal job.

There are a lot of Walgreens nearby but I have found that the staff in The Pharmacy at the Glendale Heights location are really helpful. I have asked them questions about over the counter items as well as prescriptions and the employees always respond in a professional manner. They will double check prescription prices and insurance coverage (mine recently changed) without an attitude like some other pharmacies. They also take online coupons for prescriptions if you don’t have insurance. Their Walgreens prescription card is helpful to save $$$ as well, if you don’t have insurance.

I was accosted by a woman selling really awful t-shirts for charity on the way into the store, then accosted once again when I had actually entered the store by a group offering free spine checks (imagine that, my spine flunked and I allegedly need their chiropractic treatment…). I came in here to buy a greeting card, not get hit up for a bunch of crap I don’t need. Not that I’d ever be passing this Walgreen’s again anytime soon, but if I do I won’t go. I have no idea why I even stopped at this one, there are easily 5,000 Walgreen’s between where I started this afternoon and where I was headed.
Oh, greeting card selection was passable at best. This could have been a decent Walgreens, but they struck out in my book. The hell with that, man.
