We were shopping for a mattress and box spring and learned this store carried a brand we were interested in Jim, who told us there was no sales pressure because he wasn’t paid a commission, gave us some good advice. When we decided on a mattress from that manufacturer that the store didn’t carry, we called and offered Jim the opportunity, as a courtesy to him, to see if he could get it, and we’d buy it from him. He said he could. We ordered it. During several visits to this store, we asked and both Jim and a woman who also worked there said emphatically they _never_had mattress sales, and even though it was a few days before Memorial Day, there was no reason to wait to buy because there would never be a mattress sale. You can guess the punch line. Of course, comes Memorial Day, my wife is driving by and sees a large Mattress Sale sign in the front window. She goes in and inquires how this could be. She was first accused of calling Jim and the woman who worked there liars. She didn’t. Then Jim said he would give her a 5% discount if I came back with my credit card. So we go back. Jim now says only store credit. So I ask to speak to the owner and, lo and behold, Jim and his brother are the owners, which, of course, explains why they don’t get paid on commissions. Jim blames his brother for the«first time sale». Then Jim bristles and accuses both my wife and myself of calling him liars — WHICHWENEVERDID. And finally turning bright red, he demands we leave the store immediately or he’ll call the police. This happens in such quick sequence, we don’t even say or respond during his apoplectic transformation. What can I say. Except even the often maligned big mattress stores don’t treat customers like this. We should have bought the bed from the first store we saw it at instead of trying to give Jim business for his«non-commissioned» help. No good deed goes unpunished! Stay away.

On November 11, 2008 we bought a love seat and matching chair from this furniture store. It was a special order and cost well over $ 2,300. It was suposed to have a 5 yr warranty on the product. The stiching on the arm of the chair is coming apart so we called the store to see how to get the chair fixed. The salesman that we spoke to told us there was no recourse for fixing the stiching. If the fabric had ripped or had a defect it may still be covered. No offer of an effort to solver the problem just another«not my problem» attitude. You would think they would stand behind the product that they sold. I am very disappointed in their service and attitude.
