I didn’t know what to get so I asked the server and she said her favorite thing was the Garlic Chicken so I tried that. I’m a huge fan of bibimbap(which is Bibigo’s specialty). However, I thought this place was just mediocre at best. They’ve got great customer service as all of their servers are friendly and quick. Their food is just okay. Again, I’m a huge fan of bibimbap but this place doesn’t do it well. The rice was kind of undercooked for me, their veggies tasted like they were… packaged? I’m more used to traditional korean banchan being used in bibimbap. The introduction of «fusion» doesn’t work well for me. The meat was the worst part in my opinion. It tasted old. It was hard and dry with almost no garlic flavor whatsoever. Definitely pass on that if you’re here. Maybe try the bulgogi if you’re here.

So I got the regular bibigo with bulgogi, all the toppings minus the pickled radish, kimchi fried rice, and topped with all the garnishes(sesame, seaweed, fried garlic) and topped with sesame sauce. The total was about $ 9.50. Personally I think that this was a really good deal… A lot of food for a pretty legit price. The bulgogi was super tender and the sauce was a really good compliment to everything. The kimchi fried rice base was pretty spicy but not too overpowering. All the different toppings were great too. My sis got the spicy pork one which is just as good. You can get your bibimbop in a stone pot but I think it’s an extra dollar and a fried egg is an extra $ 1.25. Definitely give this place a try, it’s not really authentic Korean food but it’s a good Korean American fusion.

I’m not a big fan of eating at the mall however I’ve been wanting to check this place out because it looked fresh and healthy. Overall I liked the taste, service & price. You can choose to eat healthy or load your plate with noodles :-/if that’s your thing… I would definitely return if I’m in this area. I would probably return more often if it wasn’t located inside a mall. I’m not about to battle the crazy parking area for this or any food.

Well its OK… I’d rather go to a real non– fast food Korean place and get my bibimbap without charging me an extrab$ 2 for an extra heaping of kimchi rice, another $ 1 for eating what I ordered in a stonebowl, and another $ 1 for a fried egg… Maybe I’ll go again next time when they’re the only that’s open. Truly disappointed.

My co-worker and I decided to grab lunch at the mall since our office is so close. I have always been curious about bibigo after seeing their products in the Korean market dumpling area. The Chipotle-build-you-own-bowl style of bimbimbap made the dish very«eater friendly» especially if someone is not as familiar with what goes into bimbimbap. Anyway, I got the spicy pork with all the other fixins and an egg. The spicy pork wasn’t SPICY to me considering all of the other truly spicy, Korean dishes I’ve had. Overall, I was very impressed(though not overwhelmingly so) with how the bowl came out, and I would definitely try out another bowl if I was feeling it. Side note: the employees were super nice when I realized that I left my wallet in my car, and I had to grab my friend to cover for me. They didn’t throw my bowl away like some other places may have.

Came here for lunch over the weekend, and it’s definitely a good option in the food court to grab a quick, cheap, tasty bite. I got a bowl with half noodles/half salad with pretty much all the veggies and bulgogi. I got all three sauces on the side, which I recommend so you can pour as much as you want on your food as you eat. I loved the crispy garlic. There was so much flavor in my bowl-I ate it all! For less than $ 10, this meal definitely hit the spot. I recommend getting the hot stone bowl(extra cost) if you plan to order rice and the fried egg($ 1.50 extra)

Chipotle style Bibimbap located at the corner of the Food Court. Hot Stone Pot($ 8.95): brown rice, mixed beans, kale, pickled asian slaw, kimchi, mixed greens, broccoli, bulgogi beef, mix of all 3 sauces, topped off with sesame seeds, crispy garlic and seaweed. At first, I didn’t think there was much food but once I began eating, I noticed how full I was starting to get! I was sad there was no beansprouts like in a regular bibimbap when i visited. Overall, food was good. I would definitely recommend paying an extra $ 1 for the stone pot if you like a little bit of crispy rice. Staff was friendly.

Absolutely love it! If I’d lived near by, i would eat it on weekly basis. Got half brown rice&organic baby greens. Added everything in the the veggie section and got bulgogi(its charred-love it!) with grilled veggies. Topped it off with crispy garlic, 2scoops of sesame and shredded seaweed. Asked for dressing on the side. So healthy and delicious! Also love the fact that their tofu, beans, greens and eggs are all organic!

Taste so good, make you wanna slap yo mama. :-) I was seriously torn having to choose between all the different places in the food court. I almost settled for chipotle, because that’s what i know and I wanted something a bit healthier. I finally decided on this place after glancing around the food court to find so many people eating their food, especially in a hot stone. I’m SO glad that i chose to eat here. I had a bowl with egg noodles, all the different veggies, spicy pork, and a few other items. The spicy pork is delicious and full of flavor. I can’t wait to go back during my lunch hour sometime soon. I thought the cashier was very friendly. I told her that it was my first time. She actaully gave me a little history about the korean company. She was definitely able to carry a conversation, and could have upsold me after talking me up. If you end up hating this place… tell me so i can slap some sense into you. :-)

Finally decided to try this place since it just opened in the mall. It wasn’t bad! It’s the Korean version of chipotle. Pick your rice, pick your meat, pick your veggies, and pick your toppings. I got the kimchi rice, spicy pork, kale, kimchi, broccoli, sesame seeds, seaweed, garlic chips, and of course, the fried egg. That bowl was definitely filling. I could barely finish it. I’d come back for a quick taste of kbbq!

Really love the flavors they have going on here. While not a fan of the service and I think the portions are a bit small, It’s just such a fun, tasty and unique meal I can’t keep but wanting to come back again and again. So many options, I wish they would include more toppings in the price, but all the ones i have had so far I have loved. My favorite meat would be the pork, sauces are great as well and the fried egg just tops it off perfectly. Worth trying!

I grabbed a quick lunch here before meeting up with my brother at the Rose Bowl. After semi-agonizing over my choices, I went with Bibigo. I like the concept. It’s like those fast but good food joints popping everywhere, using the Chipotle model. I went with a regular bowl with brown rice. For the toppings, I asked for extra kimchee, pickled slaw and kale. I panicked when asked what I wanted from the«grill» and got the meatballs. Big mistake. As soon as they unveiled the meatballs, I should have backpedaled and changed my mind. They gave me a handful of what looked(and tasted like) frozen meatballs that you can get from Smart & Final.(FYI, my mom got the tofu later in the day and said it was bland.) The food was decent. Without the meatballs. I picked the spicy sauce and wish they’d given me more. I saved the meatballs until I was halfway through my bowl(don’t judge my eating habits!) and that’s when I realized the meatballs were just subpar and actually detracted from my experience. The workers were pleasant and quick so that was nice. Otherwise, just another joint in a mall food court.

Located at the Glendale Galleria, on the 1st floor in the food court. This eatery is newly opened, towards the end of November. My mom and I decided to come here for lunch last Friday(yep, on New Year’s Day) while we did some shopping and check out all of the sales of the new year. The set up for this place is similar to Chipotole, as you can customize your bowl by choosing what to add to. Anyways, after browsing the menu board, we ended up getting: Garlic Chicken rice bowl with brown rice, $ 7.95 prior to tax– My mom got the classic bowl(served in a paper bowl, but you can choose to have the hot stone bowl for $ 1 extra) with brown rice, carrots, bean sprouts, sesame seeds and citron soy sauce(asked to be placed on the side). The chicken was good, it had a nice tender bite. The flavor was good. It is a good thing my mom had the sauce on the side because it was a bit on the salty side, but she did like the flavor of it. Garlic Chicken salad bowl, $ 7.95 prior to tax– Being a healthy eater, I decided to pick a salad in the classic bowl. I chose to have all of the free vegetables added ins to my bowl except for the kimchi and Asian pickled slaw. I also opted to have all of the free topping add ins(seaweed, sesame seeds, crispy garlic) which was a nice added flavor to my salad. I also had the sesame sauce on the side, which I also liked. I thought this bowl was pretty good and a good portion. But I just wished I had a little bit more vegetables. The employee who added in all of the free add in vegetables gave me such a tiny little amount(my mom agreed and wished she had more carrots and bean sprouts in her bowl too). I think I would probably just ask next time to have a little bit more. — — — — — - (Total= $ 17.34 after tax) Service was fairly quick, even with the line that started to form right when we got there. Employees were very friendly(and there were quite a large number of them for working on the line, but since they are new, they must be training or just feeling it all out). The food was pretty good and I would definitely come back. I would definitely want to try a brown rice bowl in the hot stone pot(bibimbap bowl with crunchy rice is the only way to go) next time.

Oh my oh my oh my!!! I LOVEEEEEE this place!!! This place is like chipotle in Korean version. You have a lot of options to choose: 1. Bowl(classic or stone $ 1 difference) 2. Base(rice, brown rice, noodles or salad) 3. Veggies(carrots, kale, pickled Asian slaw, kimchi, bean sprouts, mixed beans, or all) 4. Meat(bulgogi beef, garlic chicken, spicy pork, tofu, grilled vegetables, or meatball) 5. Sauce(kohot– spicy, sesame– sweet, or citrom soy– tangy) 6. Top it off(sesame seeds, garlic, seaweed) You can add kimchi as base for $ 0.50. You can also add the fried egg for $ 1.00. I always get the classic bowl with salad, all veggies except beans, extra pickled Asian slaw, garlic chicken, garlic, seaweed and sesame sauce and with fried egg. So gooooooood and HEALTHY! Writing this review makes me want to go back and order one. Maybe I’ll go back tomorrow to get one haha!

Fast food Korean style — that’s what Bibigo is all about. This new location is in the food court, 1st floor, of the Glendale Galleria. Orders were done expediently. Service was indifferent. Like any other fast food chain, you walk up to the counter, order from the menu board, and pay. You have a choice of meats, veggies, sauces, toppings. The bulgogi was tasty enough but the veggies lacked a bit of flavor. For a $ 7.95 bibimbap bowl, the portion is sizable. This place is a nice choice if you are in the Glendale Galleria and want a quick and inexpensive meal at the food court. However, I would not go out of my way to eat here.

I really like how diverse the Glendale galleria food court is! This new Korean bimimbap is actually really good. I was hesitant on trying it at first because the veggies did not look like regular quality veggies you would get at a Korean restaurant. However, I gave it a try anyway and was not disappointed. Although, I still prefer the veggies I would get at restaurants, the veggies offered here are not too shabby either. Overall my order was really good, and I loved how colorful it came out to be! Definitely a place I would come back to if I am every hungry at the mall! Prices are affordable too!

I love their food! I already know what bibimbap is, I grew up with it! But for everyone who doesn’t know, it’s basically kind of like an Asian chipotle haha. I love it because I get to make my bowl totally vegan! Yay! Yummy, delicious and healthy food!

I’m loving this addition to the Galleria food court! Just like chipotle, you walk down the line and build your bowl. It’s fast, fresh, and a nice break from the normal mall food court cuisine when you must eat in a food court. I’ve eaten here twice and both times I’ve gotten the classic bowl with noodles, a variety of their cold veggies, and their grilled veggies. I can’t speak for the meat eaters, but the veggies are cooked well and have just enough flavor. All together, the bowl is quite delicious. I don’t know when this place opened, but I know it’s pretty new so the staff are still friendly(the holidays are soon approaching so their tone may change). Overall, I’ll continue to enjoy this place when I’m in the area. It’s definitely worth a try.

This is the chipotle of Korean food, build your own bibimbap. Great concept and addition to the food court. You can get it two ways regular which is cold veggies on hot rice or hot stone which is sizzling and creates a crunchy fried rice on the bottom of stone. You pick your starch, I got white rice but they also have brown rice, noodles and kimchee rice(+ .50). They have a variety of veggies including kimchee, Asian slaw, kale, and beans. You can get a little bit of everything for no additional cost. For meats they have bulgolgi, garlic chicken, spicy pork, meatballs and tofu. I decided to get bulgogi and tofu, you can get double protein for additional $ 2, which I did. They have a hot, sweet and soy based sauce. I went with soy. I really liked my creation. I would go back to try the other options. I liked that it wasn’t greasy and it is overall a healthy option. I doubled my bulgogi and tofu(which was not necessary hehe) so my bowl was $ 14. The regular bowl is $ 8 and hot stone $ 9 depending if you get additions a build your own bowl will be about $ 8 to $ 14 but it’s fresh and a lot of food. Customer service was really good. The cashier accidently overcharged me on my protein addition but they were able to fix it and both the cashier and manager were gracious.
