Stopped here after an appointment, and I received excellent service all around. My server Ashley was friendly and helpful, and the whole team kept an eye on the floor, making sure all of the guests had their needs met. Great teamwork made for excellent service today — thanks so much!

This review is specifically for the Pizza Dough rewards system. Pizza Dough? More like Pizza Doh! Don’t get me wrong, I love CPK. My family and I have been frequenting this restaurant for years and we have been accumulating Pizza Dough points through their rewards system. But their system doesn’t seem to work, considering the points are never credited to us. It has just been frustrating, hearing that a lot of people have been complaining about this for a long time. Someone fix it already…

Their phone service for pick up is stressful if you’re in a hurry. Got passed around on hold 4 times. It was a Friday so I understand they were busy but I was frustrated. Otherwise their food is great and I like the California club pizzaz ! Yummy place!

Fine dining at its best. I must say this restuarant is a best choice for view, food, and drink, I enjoy the panoramic views for window Seating. I am glad to see a place where Customers feel very welcomed And greeted by very Nice staff. The speed of service was not Bad at all for being a busy Sunday evening. Ice teas are very delicious with Tropical flavor. Food is most delicious! !!! A definate place to dine in for pizzas in Glendale.

I’m not impressed by there food, there drinks kinda okay. We ordered chicken garlic hand tossed pizza, I like fried onions as their toppings but thin crust so dry and hard, my jaws hurt because of over chewing. Seriously I’m not at all happy with their pizza specialty. They should work on thin crust it’s horrible. We ordered pastas and halibut fish too, they are cooked perfectly but lack in flavor, there food is too bland.

Well, it was a weird night at CPK that’s for sure… BF had a gift card that we felt like using tonight to celebrate his birthday. We were seated promptly and had pretty decent service for the beginning portion of the meal. Drinks were on point, appetizers were good too. but I was soooo distracted by the domestic violence(basically) situation happening in the booth next to us. The couple was running in and out of the restaurant and there was a lot of commotion happening. The waiter was really trying to do his best to accommodate whatever was going on(canceling orders, reordering orders, etc.). Total. Shitshow. Basically the guy in the relationship ends up freaking out and throws one of the drink glasses shattering it EVERYWHERE!(Including on us). I rushed up to help the girl immediately after he left, but NOONE from the restaurant came over to help?!? I stood there glaring at servers who were just standing around gawking at the scene… it took me flagging someone down to ask for management to come help clean up the shards of glass everywhere. Eventually the manager made her way around the tables checking up on everyone. She gave us a free dessert for helping out, which was definitely appreciated(and an appropriate response on her part). It just baffled me that no one responded immediately to glass shattering all over the place when there is food being consumed in the area!!! The event had us shaken up for the rest of the night… the food was good but that whole debacle definitely skewed the evening, and I admit, this rating.

** This Review is for our takeout/delivery experience** We usually like CPK and we have mostly dined in several locations including this one. We were craving good pizza and decided to order from CPK via DoorDash. We ordered two pizzas, one chicken roasted garlic and one four cheese pizza. We were very disappointed with our food and it did not satisfy our craving at all. The food arrived COLD and about 2 inches from the edge of the crust was empty, no joke, there were no ingredients in about 1⁄3rd of the pizza. We’ll never order pizza from CPK again

After sunday mass we decided to hit up CPK in Glendale. This particular location has a grand view of Central Ave. Nothing better than having an excellent view, on a beautiful Sunday afternoon as you enjoy your delicious meal. As soon as we entered, the receptionist at the front greeted us with a gorgeous smile. What a way to enter a restaurant, to be welcomed, and feel like you’re welcomed. As soon as we were seated, we were greeted by our server Frank. Frank was excellent! Period. This is a guy that enjoys his work. Very lively, fun, and playful, and of course professional. For refreshments we ordered: Coffee, Strawberry Lemonade, and Water. For appetizer, we ordered: SPINACHARTICHOKEDIP. For Main Course, we ordered: She ordered: BOLOGNESESPAGHETTI(it was actually pretty darn tasty!) Yours truly ordered: THEORIGINALBBQCHICKENPIZZA w/Applewood Smoked Bacon, and Fresh Pineapple.(My ultimate favorite! I keep coming back to CPK, JUST. FOR. THIS! In conclusion, we always have a positive experience here. Special positive mention is our server Frank. He made our experience here very fun. When I was torn between ordering Thai Pizza, and BBQ Chicken Pizza. He gave me the CPKCHALLENGE! Basically, if they give this challenge, you are given a chance to order something from their menu that you’ve been wanting to try, and if somehow you don’t like it, they will fit the bill, and give you, your original order. They will not charge you for trying something you didn’t like. So when he gave me the CPKCHALLENGE, I went ahead and ordered the THAIPIZZA, and sure enough I didn’t like it. So he gave me my original order. At no extra charge. Excellent! So when you’re there make sure to ask for Frank. And be ready to be wowed by his fantastic personality, that will make you give him a generou$ tip.

I mean we all been to CPK But this ones tired. Poor service. Attitudes. I called the 818 number on Unilocal and it said to hit option one to order outside pick up. Kept getting fast busy. So I hit option #3 to talk to Someone and they were reluctant take my order. Weird. Finally the guy did. It’s way too pricey. One pizza and two large salads were 46 $ Didn’t even get some alcohol. Dammm gina. Glendale rocks and our options rock go away CPK we can use that dope spot for a cool business that appreciates us.

Great service, the staff is constantly checking in with you which was great. I love that it’s upstairs so I was able to have a nice view of Glendale at night. They validate parking in the garage adjacent to them, and you can access the elevators there as well. I love CPK’s healthy options, but I went with the classic BBQ pizza which is always a great choice. Their margaritas have a nice little kick to them as well. One of the better CPK’s in the Los Angeles area.

To start, I’ve always loved CPK from their appetizers, salads, soups down to their pastas. With that in mind, I called in a take-out order for a cheese and margherita pizza. When I checked my order prior to leaving, they gave me a five cheese pizza which was different from a regular cheese pizza. Five cheese has fresh tomatoes and basil. It looked good, but it wasn’t quite what I wanted or ordered. We waited another five minutes for the cheese pizza order. After the cheese pizza order arrived, the very kind male manager, who clearly was running around all evening not only helping serve and make drinks, help with the registers and take-out, kindly handed us all three pizzas! He thanked us for so being patient. I already know the pizzas are going to be tasteful because it’s CPK, but the manager deserves this five star rating.

The Manager that served us was amazing, he had earrings but I wasnt sure of his name. He was on top of everything and his customer skills were impeccable. From the moment he greeted me to taking our order, he was attentive and genuine and made my experience great because the bartender was was originally serving me sucked, he was all over the place and just was so slow and unattentive and he brought out the bread so slowly that the food had come first before he managed to get the bread out. really sad service becauee pizza is freshly made so thats a testament to how slow he is The pizza was delicious however I recommend the normal crust over the thin crust as cheese is sparse.

First off the bartender I think his name is Joe was garbage. He was too slow to even take our orders. Even when he returned my change he basically tossed it back on the counter to me. In a lot of cultures I think that’s considered disrespectful and rude. But the reason why I gave 5 stars was because of the manager with the hair combed back and earrings. He was extremely helpful and polite at all times. He was hard and fast working jumping around everywhere to make sure everything was going perfect. He was working under a lot of pressure and it didn’t phase him. As a business owner myself it’s extremely hard to find a manager as great as him. Cpk should give him a raise in my opinion. Food was good also.

California Pizza Kitchen is located on Brand Blvd in Glendale. This is a beautiful location as it is right near these gorgeous apartments and a fountain with lush greenery surrounding it. It is walking distance from the Americana on Brand and is on the second level. My boyfriend and I had dinner here the other night. As you walk into CPK, you are(occasionally) greeted by the host or hostess. When we got our booth, our server came to greet us and asked us right away if we would like anything to drink. We got two iced waters w/lemon and extra lemons on the side. He forgot our extra lemons. We then ordered Bread w/Olive Oil. That was very tasty and addicting! Couldn’t stop reaching for more! For our entrees, my boyfriend ordered Chicken Tequila Fettuccini. He orders it every time and loves it! I ordered the Hand Tossed Margarita Pizza. It was okay. Just okay. The dough wasn’t crispy enough it just tasted very chewy and difficult to cut through with a fork and knife. The toppings were good though. Our waiter was nice, not excellent nor terrible. Just average. I’m giving them 4 stars and not 3 because although my pizza wasn’t perfect and the waiter was average, my boyfriend and I had a great time with each other and he enjoyed his entrée a lot.

We walked in at about 6 p.m. on a Saturday night. There were several empty tables but we were told there was a 15 minute wait — because they only had three servers and they were waiting for more servers to arrive and start their shifts. I’m sorry, this is a very poorly managed CPK if they don’t have enough waiters on a Saturday night. Rather than wait 15 minutes we decided to sit at the bar for dinner. The bartender was nice, but clearly overworked and frazzled. It took him soo long to bring my husband his wine that he finally canceled the wine order when he was close to finishing his dinner. The food is good, so it’s sad the place is so poorly run.

Very disappointed in the location. After waiting over 30 minutes for a seat a man approaches the hostess clearly upset over the wait time. We were all upset due to the wait time and understaffed location but waited patiently. This man didn’t even wait 1 minute before the hostess called her supervisor and that supervisor seated him immediately. I have 2 kids and if I had known all I needed was to be dramatic to have a seat right away I would have made a scene with the kids. Just wanted to update this, shortly after we were seated my husband spoke to the manager in charge. His name was Ismael, we told him how frustrating the situation was and he heard us out patiently. He apologized and presented us with 2 appetizers. We appreciated the gesture but hope they can consider the folks patiently waiting before seating a grown brat!

I really like CPK and eat there too often when I’m craving for some light American fare. There are many favorites on the menu but my review here is for the Glendale location. I love their«penthouse» location and view down onto Brand Blvd. There’s a delightful, open feel to this establishment. They’re pretty hard to come by these days. Had lunch here last weekend. The two of us shared a full salad(BBQ chicken ranch for almost $ 15) and a wild mushroom pizza(about $ 14). The price of the food has really gone up over the years. I still remember the days of $ 9.95 pizzas here. My usual beverage is the strawberry iced tea. They were nice to accommodate our request for an iced coffee. They don’t have it on the menu but they made one for us anyway. I’m not crazy about their complimentary baguette. It has a raw taste to it. The herbed dipping oil is delicious though. More than half the salad and two slices of pizza were left over from our lunch. Service was great on a busy Saturday lunch service.

CPK is a chain restaurant that has a variety of Italian food — pizzas, pastas, etc. It’s never my first choice as the food is only slightly above average. Anyway, we had a large group of people visiting so we ordered CPK for everyone. My friend and I went to pick up the order($ 70+) and when we got home, we realized that one of the main dishes(chicken pasta) was missing. UGH. Also, when we went to pick up the food, the gal told us that she didn’t have anymore bread(it’s complimentary so whatever). Upon arriving home and realizing the missing pasta, I called CPK. They put the manager on the phone(a young charming guy from Austin) and he changed my experience completely. He took off THREE dishes from our bill(cut our bill in half) and was so nice to us when we came back! UPDATE(June 2015): I came back here today after having a positive experience over the weekend at the Burbank CPK. I was disappointed, yet again. I ordered a chipotle chicken pizza with no chicken(it was recommended to us by the Burbank CPK and was delicious). I placed my order for take out. Upon getting home, I noticed a large piece of chicken on one slice of pizza and then after a careful examination, noticed that there were SMALL pieces of chicken on other slices as well! UGH. So frustrating since I noticed this after arriving home. I had checked the box quickly at CPK but the chicken was not noticeable until I was in bright light. I called the CPK and spoke with Ismael who was the manager on duty. He refunded the charge and sent me a gift card in the mail to come back. I will go back with my husband and eat in person there since our issues always seem to be with take-out.
