Was going to give one star, but my kids enjoyed so one more star. If you like overpriced chocolate that tastes like wax, this is the place for you. Really awful. They should charge less than half than they do because they are obviously using massive fillers to stretch their chocolate. Like I said, my kids like it, but what do they know? They like Hershey’s. Some friendly people, some horribly nasty, rude employees who act annoyed to be there. That’s 2 of us though.

So i came here because a long time ago when i was little my mom brought me here. I took the tour when i was 6 and it was MUCH longer than 30 minutes? Hmm. Also i remember them having chocolate covered strawberries that where the biggest things ive ever seen! They were good. I came in hoping to find one but found a chocolate covered banana instead. Place inside was a little messy and old. But nothing new from what i remember! I must have liked the chocolate covered banana cause it was all over my face by the time i finished it.

Assortment of chocolates! Wish they had addition chocolate items like chocolate covered Oreo cookies and gummie Bears, and clusters. Big fan of their truffle mints! Friendly staff.

Can you say price gouging! $ 12.00 a pound. zoiks! You can get the same candy at a grocery store for less. And hopefully not as rude as the people working here.

Great $ 6 tour where we wrapped a few chocolates and got several samples. Also got a $ 2.50 coupon off of a purchase. Loved the variety of chocolates available to purchase in bulk. Tour guide was nice and very knowledgable.

The chocolates are amazing and the salt water taffy is so delicious. They whip the taffy instead of pull it so it has all the taste but doesn’t stick to your teeth. Great flavors and really nice gift baskets for sale as well. Loved this place.

What a gem! I’m so glad that I have been able to visit this place & hope to make it a tradition for my son. We went in and had THEBEST service from an employee there! We have bought chocolate, toffees, taffees, yogurt covered treats, and a chocolate dipped cheesecake(not all at once, hahaha!) But we have never been disappointed! We will be coming for the tour sometime and look forward to seeing this landmark stick around for long.

With Jim Cerreta, Cerreta’s Candy Factory in AZ. His company has been around forever! One of my favorite people I have met, plus Best Chocolate ever! I was given a tour I will never forget! I wish more places ran like Cerreta’s. What a great experience!

We came to Cerretas on a Saturday afternoon looking for a fun, inexpensive indoor activity for the kids. I didn’t have high hopes for the tour, but wasn’t expecting there to be no tours on Saturdays. Tours are apparently only mon-fri at 10 and 1. The website makes it sound like there are self-guided tours available whenever they are open, but it’s a video. The only reason I gave them 3 stars was the employees. They were not only apologetic, but a wealth of knowledge about the local area. I left with a list of a dozen other fun, inexpensive, family friendly activities to try out. We did get some chocolate, so it wasn’t a total loss.

Cerreta’s is a true Glendale tradition. It’s a pretty cool old fashioned candy factory making their selection of treats on site in huge quantities. The tour is really like stepping back in time and everything still basically looks like its right out of the 50s. Their French Mint Meltaways are really they obvious item you have to try, but I also found the chocolate turtles to be pretty awesome too. Don’t expect to spend a whole lot of time here. Even with the tour, you don’t need to be here more than 45 minutes. Just plan to take a mixed bag of chocolates with you when you go. You probably won’t be able to resist.

Love, love, love!!! Took daughter there 4 years ago for the chocolate tour. She had fun. Hadn’t had been back only because of location and my crazy schedule so I was so happy when a client of mine brought me a box of my favorites! Their chocolate mints, they just melt in your mouth!!! Yummy!!!

Yummy chocolates. I prefer See’s but this place wasn’t too bad. Would love to take a tour next time we are in the area!

The chocolate tour was free and fun. The owner of the factory is 86 and still comes in Monday through Friday to work and greet everyone on the tour. They had a lot of great candy and let people make their own dipped marshmallows and chocolate molds.

Took the«tour» which included walking 100 ft down a line of machinery without much explanation, followed by a sample(a nasty fondant-and-sprinkles-covered marshmallow) and a lady with a microphone explaining a little bit about their famous French mints. The store itself was not what I expected, less of a chocolate store and more of a bulk, individually wrapped chocolates. They were okay– personally I prefer more than just truffle-shaped chocolates and didn’t buy too many based on that fact. I wouldn’t go back. It would be two stars but those dang chocolate mints ARE pretty delicious and made the long drive a little bit better

I had recently read my friend Leslie Ms review of this place. Sounded pretty cool. Who knew that there was a chocolate factory in Glendale? Not I says the fly. My buddy and I were in Tempe and we decided to stop on our way back to Surprise. How was it, you ask? It was A-OK. I grabbed a plastic bin and started to put pieces of candy in it. You create your own bag pretty much. They charge by the pound(I think it was $ 12.00 a pound). I wound up with some chocolates and caramels for the most part. I also purchased a milk chocolate with almonds candy bar and a cayenne pepper dark chocolate bar. My total was a little over $ 8.00 for everything. The chocolate was just alright. I am a huge Sees fan and was hoping that this would come close… eh…not really. The chocolates seemed a little«old»? Some of my pieces had a tiny bit of white in them. That usually signifies old or getting old lol. The chocolate bars were decent. The best thing here were the caramels! I got a few different types of caramel and they were all delicious. Next time I come, I will get 20% chocolate and 80% caramels for my grab bag. Service was friendly enough, I guess? I only dealt with the cashier. I also was not offered any free samples. Is that normal? Overall, it was a cool place to check out but I’m not rushing back anytime soon. If I’m in the area and craving something sweet, I’ll stop. If not, I’ve had better chocolate elsewhere and will head to those places instead.

Okay very old inside and out even smells old inside. Nothing to ever come back again to. See candy is way better then place could ever be. All I can say is don’t go out of your way.

I love to stop in here for candy and to see their seasonal candies and gifts! It’s fun to see the older equipment and molds that they still use to make the candy. My favorite candy is the pecan praline ‘cookie’. Absolutely melt in your mouth delicious! They have free thirty minute tours and you can try a free sample piece of candy of your choice. A nice place to stop when visiting the Glendale area.

An Arizona local staple. They have lots of goodies to chose from and even give you free samples. Chocolate heaven. I love their green mint truffles. Those are the best.

Really delicious chocolates both dark and milk. Melt in your mouth caramels and perfectly prepared caramel apples. Since I was young I’ve always enjoyed coming in here and picking out some chocolates to take home. Now this is no Willy Wonka factory but it is still neat to watch some of their chocolates being made. The staff has always been friendly and sweet about letting their customers try samples before buying many of their items. I was last in around super bowl. The cute boxes and baskets they made for fans of either team were very cute and filled with yummy treats. My favorites by far are the milk chocolate butter creams. In my opinion the best I’ve had from any chocolate store.
