We’ve ordered delivery from here twice now. Both times, the service was super friendly, which always makes me happy and want to return for that reason alone. But of course the food also has to be good for me to do that, and Chicken Al-Wazir does not disappoint. The food is delicious. We’ve ordered the chicken, beef filet, and beef luleh kabobs, and of those three, the beef filet is our favorite, but they are all good. This time we also got the fried potatoes as a side and some hummus, and both were yummy. Even though the menu says«french fries,» what you really get are thick slices of fried potato and that was fine with me. If you get your kabobs as a meal, you get a salad, rice, onions, broiled tomato and broiled pepper, the last two of which are also favorites for us. I’m looking forward to trying some other menu items next time. Delivery service was quick and also very friendly. There was also a slight problem with our check(an accidental charge), but they took care of it immediately. We will definitely be ordering from here again.

.:Customer Service:. Excellent customer service. We were take very well care of. Food was prepared in a timely manner and brought to the table hot and ready. .:Ambiance & Seating:. Cozy spot. Can go casual. Seating is indoors with TVs and music. .:Food Quality:. Amazing! The beef was actual filet mignon and the chicken is very juicy. One of the best I’ve had, and I will definitely be ordering for pickup in the future. .:Parking:. Parking is limited, but there is a lot across the street most seem to park. That’s what I did. .:Other Concerns & Final Comments:. Would definitely go back.

The new owners are very friendly, the food is amazing, & the service is great! I work right next to this establishment, & it’s always the office favorite for lunch time. Their wraps & their food combos are to die for & their tabouleh is incomparable. They also catered for a family event and everyone loved it. Their food is the closest to a home cooked meal. I don’t understand some of these negative reviews, especially the one from Michael S. that was EXTREMELYRACIST and irrational(someone should’ve raised Michael with some manners & values.) Although I am Armenian, my coworkers are not and they are always treated with the same respect and service that I am. We always recommend them to our customers & they all love it.

Very disappointed. I believe ownership changed. Food has no flavor. Rice was hard, felt like rice was a couple of days old. Missed the pickled cabbage. Chicken was tough and old. Nothing like the old flavors. Won’t order from here ever.

They have a good deal for party plates. Good food and fast delivery service. The lady who’s answering the phone is very sweet and the delivery guy is nice too. Just sad that they forgot my garlic sauce but over all i enjoyed everything.

The beef and chicken kabobs are everything you want them to be; juicy, good cuts, cooked to perfection, and delicious! Generous portions, cheap prices, quick service, the humus tastes homemade, and the people of that work the register are all very nice and helpful!

Great food. Home style cooked. The only way to eat kabob. The couple running the place is very sweet. Stop by and enjoy as I did.

Under new management and I believe the new owners need some time to get the hang of it. This used to be my go-to place for a big family style meal, but on my last visit we were only able to get single orders, making it just like every other kebab place. I will give it one more try before I write it off.

Delicious, filling, fresh, comforting. Usually chicken kebabs tend to be dry but it’s pretty tender and juicy here. We got our meal with«French fries» which are fried potato rounds — delicious! The owner/chef was so courteous and friendly. We found our new go-to Middle eastern joint in Glendale. Yay!

The new owners of Chicken Al-Wazir have created a nice atmosphere for sure! They mentioned they care going to continue updating the outside which I think will add to the restaurant’s appeal. They offer great, personalized, friendly service. It is clear that the food items are made with love and are home made. We had a big variety of dishes this past Monday and we liked everything(from luleh to kebab to schnitzel; salads, a fermented cabbage dish called something like torshish? and hummus) The meats were all pretty solid. A couple of us would like there to be a chicken breast option for kebab which is offered at many of the competitors. Two of us were ok with the chicken kebab but not overwhelmed. The beef luleh was really good as was the schnitzel sandwich. The salad that comes with the meal was really good. I could have eaten one three times bigger it was so good. The cabbage/pickle salad/torshish(however it is spelled) was really good! Salty and pickled! I will definitely come back and tell others about the place as well.

Absolutely first class grilled chicken wings. This place does the best Persian style grilled chicken wings in LA. Also, the price? AMAZING

I’m going to keep this short and get to the point, Chicken Al Wazir is simply delicious! It’s the ideal place to go for lunch with a variety of choices in middle eastern cuisine. My recent visit I ordered the schnitzel sandwich and it was great! The breaded chicken sandwich tossed in spices was served with a side of seasoned fries and I couldn’t believe how huge their portion sizes were for the price I paid. I got to speak to their chef, Rubo, as I waited for my food to be prepared and overall he is a kind and humble man who even went out the way to play music for me as I waited for my meal to be prepared! This place is truly a gem in the city of Glendale and surely it won’t be my last visit!

This place had the most fresh and quality meat on Glendale Blv. There is a lot of other places to go but I suggest this place. The lady cooks is very friendly and does a awesome job. Every time I’m in La I’m ordering for this place !!

Nothing fancy here, just a butcher’s display case full of marinated and impaled meat, a flat screen advertising the latest in local Armenian dentistry, and a table full of bald yet hirsute gentlemen wearing white dress shirts and black mustaches. While the chicken kebab is very good, it’s just like Armenia itself: sort of Middle Eastern, but not entirely.

Stopped in for lunch while I was having a tire replaced down the block. I ordered the chicken kabob wrap and a drink.(Total:$ 7.50) It took about 15 minutes to cook the food but that’s to be expected for that kind of thing. The owner was super friendly and let me bring my dog inside the door while I waited. Then he brought out some chicken and gave some to my dog. My dog and I both agreed that this was some pretty good chicken. For the price I think you can’t go wrong. Don’t expect fancy décor. That’s not what this place is about. It’s about good food at a fair price. There’s only one other place in Glendale with better chicken kabob but it’s a little farther away from me so this spot will do just fine when I’m close by. TIP: call ahead to avoid the wait.
