Christian Books & Veggie Foods | An Adventist Book Center

I love this place. I use to be an SDA and hated all things SDA. But since I’ve become a vegetarian again, I had to come back and was very happy with all the food choices! They’re way better than the food offered at all other markets.
I highly recommend this place to all vegetarians and vegans! It’s a must go to store!

Lots of Christian bible material and a big variety to select from so this is a great store to come too. They have a lot on vegetarian books which is great if your vegan or want to go in that direction, i mean this hospital is known for that even when you eat in their cafeteria you will find many vegetarian selections on their menu. Great store in the perfect location right near the hospital!

Great bible study material, wide variety. If you want to learn about the bible and have questions on specific topics, come hereGreat for vegetarians!

i love this place. My mom used to bring my sister and i here for goodies when we were little. Also, we used to wait at the bus stop in front to be picked up to go to camp cedar falls in the early 90’s.
P. s. don’t hate on it because it’s SDA… if you’re offended by the Christian things in here, DON’T GO HERE!!! most SDA’s are veggies so this place was MADE FOR US, not you. we welcome you, but please don’t talk crap about our religion when we’re giving you great prices.

No where else in the los angeles area can you find as much vegetarian protein. I love Worthington Food products and they have them all.

It gets worse and worse!
Was in the area so stopped by to check out the specials. Not bad deals, especially on cases of stuff, but who needs that many Veggie Skallops? But here’s the kicker…
Prices — UP. Especially on frozen stuff, which used to be a bargain.
Food space — DOWN. Part of the back of this place is now walled off, they told me they’re renting out the space. The six shelves of dry veggie goods is down to TWO. And the Jesus books just keep encroaching on all the food space!
Checkstands — MOVED. They are near the exit now, which makes a lot more sense. Too bad it’s not worth shopping here anymore, unless you want a copy of «Jesus Never Said Everyone Was Worth Saving.»
Don’t get me wrong — they still have a great frozen meat /​entrée selection, but they’re sorely lacking in canned foods now, and the prices are not worth the drive.
The FOOD SPECIALS are still worth looking into, though! Maybe call first and feel it out, the items on sale may not be ones you’re interested in. Local vegetarians MUST check this place out, all others, only if you’re close by.
Remember, they’re closed Saturdays!
