I made an appointment for a full weave and cut with Marcie Brown.
Let me start by saying that my hair was long over due for a color and cut. I have very long, very thick, very dark hair.
She cut my bangs to perfection, and took me from an overgrown ombré to perfect platinum with zero orange or brassiness. I cannot express how happy I am with the results.
She did exactly what I asked for and took her time providing me with exactly what I wanted, which was a tall order!
Marcie is a true color specialist who is constantly taking classes to improve her craft.
I would absolutely recommend Marcie, she is an expert.

She improves her product lines by researching and learning about them, attending classes and workshops and going to annual hair shows. I have been a client of Marcie’s since 2005. I was recommended to her after I had gone to a regis salon and was told by the hairdresser that she could not lighten my hair because my hair would fall out. (I have black hair). I went to Marcie, who was able to lift my color up to blond with highlights, while still keeping my hair from being dried out. She doesn’t use the harsh, fast-​acting chemicals like most other hairdressers but buys the more expensive organic bleaches and dyes that are far more gentler on the hair and scalp. She may spend more for her dyes and bleaches but she doesn’t pass it on to the client and still charge a very reasonable price.
I’ve undergone several transformations from brunette, to burgundy and blond a number of times and my hair has remained healthy looking.
Also, my coloring is great looking and I’ve always received compliments on each of the hair colors I’ve had. I’ve also was able to get a perm while having bleached hair.
She is a master colorist, hair cutter and stylist. I’ve seen her works wonders on a friend for her wedding.
Marcie’s strong point is she continually attends hair shows and events every year and is up on the latest products and styles.
Although I’ve relocated and now travel 50 miles round trip to see her, I continue to book my appointments with her because I trust her with my hair.
